Fantastic , I live very near you. I know those roads very well. I started navigating at 13 years of age for Carmarthen motor club. Over the years I have navigated driven my own car and competed in kart racing . However my first love is rallying, especially night road rallies. I am now 65 and retired, so have bought myself a 2009 ex M-Sport reccie rally car, and have also started to navigate again. My first event after many years wash as a navigator in the Bath motor club night Targa rally 2 weeks ago. My driver was Mark Carrow, we had not et before, but had spoken on the phone loads. 57 entrants , we finished 22nd and second in class, despite sitting in kon stag,e for 15 minutes in the dark with a battery power lead that had got loose.
Hello . Thank you for this video. I am an owner of a 2012 Mitsubishi L200 with an automatic transmission gear box. And here is the problem . As I am driving at a normal speed of 80 km/hour -55 miles/h , often stepping away from the gas pedal and let the car go due to traffic, then the car breaks suddenly 2 times and moves from the 4th gear to the second gear. After that it is stucked on the second and I cannot accelerate, the D indecator flashes, and the only way out is to pull over and switch off the engine and started again. Do you have an idea what is causing it ? Can anyone help ? Thank you the faults are P1782 and P1783
This sounds like an electronic problem. There are wires going from the ECU to the transmission box and sometimes due vibrations, off road use the wires get damaged and causes malfunctions like you describe. Let someone check the wiring connections to the transmission.
In a straight line and in sports mode, the 3.2 is definitely a sports cars, the instant acceleration coupled with the sound from those twin exhausts is much more exhilarating than, say an MX 5, which everyone says is a sports car. Around corners, they can understeer due to the weight and position of the engine, but the brakes do a great job of slowing the car down and the 4wd sends it around corners beautifully. Some say the steering is dead. Not sure what they mean, turn the wheel even slightly and the nose follows. TBH, whether this a sports car or not is immaterial, it is an exciting and fun car to drive. As for forgotten hero ? I attended a TT meet last year, where over 130 cars turned up, and the vast majority were MK 1's. If people had forgotten, they're starting to remember !
Totally agree with seat position! i have mine E60 for like 7 months (comfort seats with heating, cooling, massages etc.) and i have been constantly changing the seat position to find the sweet spot between right distance to steering wheel and enough leg room (in my preference i would be so happy if it is possible to put steering wheel closer to me). I prefer to seat as low as possible, but E60 is designed to seat higher (which is really strange for me). Now, after months, it looks like i have finally found some acceptable compromise in seat position, but it is definitely not 100 % right as i would imagine. In different bmws (e46, e39...) it takes me like 10 seconds to find the perfect seat position and i love them! Over all I am satisfied with e60, but the seat positions is the thing the pisses me of little bit. :D

I beg to differ about a Vauxhall fan buying a ST I have always been a Vauxhall fan even worked for Vauxhall and I had the choice of the VXR or the ST, and guess who has an ST? Yep the Vauxhall fan me lol
The suv version of this, pajero/montero sport is a nice car to drive - especially the 2020 version which seemed to have improved nvh. When it's up 20-80km/h the diesel engine is pretty silent, the cabin has good nvh, and it absorbs road imperfections quite nicely
