I’ve watched this video around 30 times. Got my test today and my instructor has been crap. Must of only had 30 minutes practice reversing, in an old factory car park with no proper cone set outs or barriers to reverse into. I’ve no markers for reversing into so I’m going into this blind this morning. Hopefully this video gets me through. 👍
Came here to brush up on my coupling/uncoupling skills that I learnt a year ago when I passed but never used them since then and now have an assessment next week for a job I am desperate to get. Spot on video. Thank you for the help.
Isnt that example of 15 minute rests over 12 hours wrong? You need 30 mins over 9 hours in the example given you worked 10 hours before the second break
I dont believe so. It says you have to take 30 minutes of total rest if you work 6-9 hours. so if you work longer than 9 hours I dont think you have to take 30 minutes rest within 9 hours of work, you just have to take 45 minutes throughout the shift or in the middle of the shift
Noticed the driver put his head under the body of the truck to check the wheels arnt touching I was told not to do that and to stand near the front wheels to see it and not to stick your head between the bars, I have you all week for my lessons on Monday
This is a very tricky roundabout given the size of it and other motorists not staying in lane, not many giving hgv’s the chance to stay in the actual lane they need to complete the turns

Another great vlog from the guys at TNLA, how you doing Kev? hope all is well...onto Class 1, i should have taken up the opportunity to go on this when i passed class 2 last year, but wasn't to be at that time as to much going on then..and i still carry the PMA with me, oh and the sock on the mirror i still use it now and again, wife thinks i'm nuts haha - Mr.Schumacher!!
They ask me 5 as I didn't C you get asked only 2 if you have C already and I've fail my test 🙃 wendsday I've got another retest fingers crossed 🙌🙌🤞🤞I will pass second time
I do 4 on 4 off and I had 2 reduced daily rest, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday I had a reduced weekly rest of 30 hours. Can I have on Saturday and Sunday reduced daily rest? The thing if I do I have 4 reduced daily rest in a week. But on the other hand I have weekly rest between. Thanks in advance.
Done mine today with the lad speaking in the video, absolutely fantastic at teaching , especially for someone like me who's struggles believing they can do it. Would 100 percent recommend these guys and definitely watch and subscribe as the videos are a massive help. Cheers again.
Wow this makes my head spin. I’m leaving the domestic gas industry and I’m about to get tuition in coach driving with a view to joining a local coach tour holiday operator. I used to think rules for gas engineers were bad, they are straightforward compared to this!

So I had my first job Tuesday told them it was my first drive was ment to be with another driver, he didn't show up so they threw keys and paperwork at me gave me no advice or training. Went to my first drop ride there was fine, place told me to go main entrance where a tree snagged on the truck and pulled the bk frame off needless to say I was mortified everyone else at the drop found it hilarious and were very sympathetic for me
You forgot to put your seatbelt on? 😂 I learned the hard way to always check the 5th wheel is higher than the king pin. Went straight under it and passed it lol, luckily only busted up the lights on the unit. Lesson learned Great video thank you
