I spend my extra time grilling, smoking, and cooking up some delicious recipes, and I show you exactly how to make the same recipes through my videos that I share with the world through this RU-vid channel called "Smoky Ribs BBQ"! Here you will find southern barbecue (BBQ), Gulf Coast seafood, Cajun cuisine, and more great recipes! Please come along with me, as I take you on a culinary tour of deep south cooking and cuisine that is bound to please the most finicky taste. Please be sure to subscribe to my channel, if you would like to see what all I have coming your way! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)
Russ I live in Long Beach and I just wish I had even a quarter of your knowledge and equipment to do what you do brother. I experiment with what I have and I tend to do pretty good but maybe one day I'll be like you!!!!
The best mango Hab hot sauce on you tube. Charring the peppers really add a pop of flavor. Super simple and it’s all you need. I added a handful of sun gold tomatoes and it added another layer of flavors.
I’m taking this recipe back to New Zealand. I got addicted while visiting Tampa to see my Fiance and I’ve never ever heard of boiled peanuts before these trips . And I need to be able to make them at home now
As with Gumbo one of THE MOST important ingredients (if you will) with these dishes is TIME. You have to give these dishes the time it takes to break down and meld all those flavors together. These 30 minute red beans and gumbo recipes are garbage in my opinion. You must take the time to get the desired effect. Which is amazing tasting food. It's simple to make. You simply must allow the time necessary...
3 hours for red beans and rice is my golden rule. Some people smash them to thicken the beans but if you cook them long enough they will make their own thick gravy. I know one 30 minute gumbo that you absolutely can't tell the difference but that is the exception
@@SmokyRibsBBQ Well being from Montana I'm definitely no authority on Cajun food like you guys from the south. I did, however, start investigating authentic gumbo several years ago. To me it's the time in the back burner that yields a true gumbo. I get it's hard to replicate in restaurants given all that time. Going to your neck of the woods to eat authentic gumbo and crawfish is at the top of my bucket list...
Brother, I'd give anything to live somewhat close to you so you could teach me some stuff. I'm good at all the basic stuff like steaks, pork chops, stuff like that, but I'd KILL to be able to grill seafood and do ribs. You're a bad mamajama when it comes to American food. That chili looks amazing! I bet your wife is a happy woman with zero complaints.
RUS! - I just had this exact same dinner tonight - with Costco ribeye steaks. Your steaks look out of this world - I used Worchestire Sauce as a binder and Montreal Steak Spice as a rub for mine. I coated the potatoes in olive oil then used celery salt as a rub for them - Split open with sour cream, bacon bits, and parm cheese. - Better than a steakhouse. - Cheers!
Super cool The Golden Steer has their seasonings available to buy. I can only imagine how good they are. The Golden Steer is by far my favorite restaurant.
I've actually been there when I was in Vegas, damn good steak. The steaks you cooked looked phenomenal Rus, could almost taste it from here, damn good cook!
Jeezus - now I want some steak! Everything looked excellent Rus! Maybe I'll pass by this restaurant next week when I'm in Vegas, just to smell it because my pockets aren't deep enough - but rubs and steak looked of excellent quality!
Epic meal brother. You know how to do it my friend. You've got a sub for life here. Last thing..... health nuts, go elsewhere. We enjoy life here on this channel.
Thank you Greg! Those fantastic steaks may be the closest I ever get to eating at the actual Golden Steer Steakhouse. These are the kind of steaks that leaves great lasting memories. Cheers!
Fantastic job Rus, the grill packs look pretty good sir! Steak looks amazing and my mouth is watering over here😂. Enjoyed the video as always! Cheers brother 🍺
