Learn Autocad, Etabs, SAFE, and other civil engineering software for building design. The aim of Civil Field Trainers is to teach young civil engineers and make them industry-ready. The courses we cover are as follows. AutoCAD. Etabs building design. Staad Pro building design. SAFE foundation design. Sap2000.
We also cover manual and software-based design. Slab design, beam design, column design, footing design, etc.

@@ajroyaldesigner3833 Download our application, and get ETABS+SAFE+RCDC course. It has beam and column detailing excel sheets in it as well. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.kevin.emmuo&pcampaignid=web_share
I modeled a typical frame structure in ETABS 21. After running the analysis and design, and setting the rebar selection rules, when I go to the detailing, the beams on 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors show “No Design”. The cross sections in the detailing show 10mm by 10mm weird figures. Tried multiple times. Beams on the upper floor have full detailing. Everything is good with them. For all the stories except the ground story, even the cross section of the beam is the same. Can you please guide me what could be the reason for this?
@@civilfieldtrainers thank you Sir. You were right. Some of the members were unable to pass the check. Changing the Torsional Constant for those sections resolved the issue. Thanks again and keep up your work please.
Sir Could you please create a video detailing the slab using an Excel sheet? We've been eagerly waiting for it for a long time. I've been following you for the past 8 months, and I find your teaching skills amazing.
How do you make a video to teach someone something and you increased the speed of your speech so much that one can barely hear what you're saying?...it doesn't make sense bro...next time just leave your voice the normal way, don't speed it up. Even if the video ends up taking much longer, it fine.
the shorter side of the column should be perpendicular to the orientation of the longer beams length, which is equivalent with saying the deapth of the column should be aligned or parallel with the length of the longer beam, i hope that was what you mean.
Good morning everyone, I'm trying to use ETABS to design Reinforced Concrete box culvert, after successfully designing the model I can't proceed to run the analysis. I have been trying my possible best to get the analysis but the process is not scaling through. Please I need help and guidance on how to run the analysis please. This thing is giving me headache
Please use Staad Pro for carrying out the analysis and design of such structures. Etabs is really good for RCC and High Rise Structures. But for culverts, etc. Staad Pro is best.
@@ahmadrezalatifi3278 As you may know, detailing can be exported in DWG format which is supported by Revit. Additionally, you can export the detailing in DXF format which is suitable for almost any CAD software including Revit.
Sir, if you consider the volume of a tank as 1 m³ ( 1000 kg ), then the weight of water is 10 kN/m². This value remains constant regardless of the tank's dimensions, doesn't it?
Sir, in the third scenario, suppose I constructed a 100mm thick slab and later added a 4.5-inch thick wall on top without installing a beam underneath. Upon applying a wall load to the null beam and conducting an analysis in ETABS, the slab fails. What would be the appropriate course of action in this case?
Thank you so much for your insightful response! Your teaching skills are truly exceptional. I appreciate the dedication and the timely replies to my queries, both in your online classes and on RU-vid. Your knowledge and structured approach make learning enjoyable and effective. Keep up the fantastic work!
