If you enjoy UTV trail riding and racing, you have come to the right place. I have always had a passion for offroad whether thats trail riding or racing! I created this channel for three main reasons!
1. To RIDE UTVs and share that experience with others. 2. To BUILD a community by riding with new people and exploring new parks. 3. To UNITE the industry through testing products and helping industry leaders develop better products so you all can enjoy the best of the best for your UTV!
It’s the S&B particle separator. It was right behind the GoPro so it’s pretty loud I just realized it in this video though. I did have the fender well version and it was quieter but I couldn’t get it to work right so I changed to the one that bolts to the roll cage
I was about to buy the trail edition when I was looking at buying my UTV. It was between that and the pro xp I have now. I loved the camo and green on the trail, I thought it was one of the better ones they came out with! My dad still loves his KRX. They are a hell of a machine!
I was just thinking about that the other day watching the highlights from crandon. I really want to go up there and watch. It would be a heck of a drive but from what I have seen it would be awesome! I’ll have to look at the dates for the remaining rounds and see if I could make it happen!
@schuiteman74 looks like that’s the end of August. Depending on what happens with the HRA series I am in, we might be racing that weekend. I really need to try and get up there either this year or next year though. I want to see the Pro 4s hit that first corner!
Since you asked for constructive criticism/feedback. For me personally, I would rather not know exactly what's going to happen b4 i watch each round. Digging the content for sure though. Keep em coming🤘👍
@@josephwallace9915 it adds up pretty quick honestly. To get into it with the machine you’re looking at probably 5-10k in fabrication and safety work but then depending on how far of a drive you have to the track, it’s about $500 per event for entry fees and passes for the event. I would say desert racing is a lot more expensive but it really just depends. Where I race in Oklahoma is a lot more expensive than where this race was at. This race would be pretty cheap to get into depending on skill level
We didn’t tune it in this video but he does have it tuned now. I honestly wouldn’t recommend the exhaust, it’s stupid loud. There’s a few others on the market that sound good and aren’t brutally loud if you want to get one.
Yeah mine are beadlocks. You could probably get away with a non beadlock in the front but the rear really needs the beadlock. I have seen some use the method bead grip rims but you see majority of people with bead lock all the around
Heck yeah! I went up to Cameron and shook his hand after that race. That was such a fun race even though we were at the back. I’m really looking forward to the next one!
Glad it was a good time minus the rolling down the hill! I wanted to get out and see how many more trails they added but we were so busy. I’m hoping we can hit the trails a little for round 2!
Yeah going back and watching my GoPro footage, my lines don’t flow very well. I go watch the pro race and it looks like they never hit the brakes. I have a lot to learn but it’ll come with time!
I had hydration sticks that 1stPhorm makes but I drank it after the race Saturday. Sunday I took one before and that helped I think. I think the hydration sticks will be the move for sure
The track is insane!!! I was dreaming about racing the next few nights after the race. I can’t wait to get back for round 2 and keep pushing the car and learning how to get faster.
It worked amazing! I’m sure it was a combo of the shock setup but I have been very happy with it. The handling was insane. I can push the car as hard as I’m willing to go and it takes it like a champ. I did race again this weekend and there was another pro xp racing. He had a lot of issues with bucking on the jumps and I flew very flat. It could be the shock tuning but the wheelbase difference with this kit could have a small impact as well. Overall I’m happy with it. Powder cost kinda sucked from L&W but it’s a race car. I expected the paint to chip during racing.
@skydivekid01 depending on what kind of riding you do I would maybe consider the race kit. It’s only like $100 more I think and it’s a thicker tubing on the a arms and I think an extra gusset. That’s what I went with especially for the racing.
Your video was very helpful, entertaining and full of good information. I'm from Kentucky and I work in private security. I took a job in Missouri for a few months doing some asset Management protection at Rays Rocks. I was doing some research and came across your video.
Thank you! I’m stoked to finally get to a track and get some time in the car. Fingers crossed for a solid weekend so I can get plenty of content out there! The track in Oklahoma is wild!
I’m not sure if it would foam up enough to really work but I might have to give that a shot. I could probably mix it with some of the soap and it would work pretty well
I think I know why you destroyed the wheel bearings when you took them out! I just watched a SuperAtv video on removing & installing wheel bearings on a RZR. The wheel bearings come out the front, not from the back that did! And you install from the front, then put the snap ring back in!
It depends on what year they did it on, these knuckles go in from the back, they have a lip in them that you press the bearings against and then the snap rink holds it in from the back side
You’re probably hearing blow off valve. It can be a little annoying but you get used to it. You can make it so you don’t hear it but I’m used to it already
For sure! I was supposed to already have 2 races under my belt but it’s only been able to rip around the back yard. Memorial Day will be my next race so it’ll get a good shakedown then!
Thank you! We got rained out this weekend so now we have to prep for Mid America on Memorial Day. The rzr is going back to the shop for the rest of the fab work and we should be good to go!
lol this happens to a lot of people. You can even see Polaris mechanics do the same thing removing stock wheel bearings. As far as harbor freight tools, you get what you pay for. But yeah you’re right, I know nothing! I definitely didn’t just finish building a short course car! Hope it doesn’t fall apart! Lol
Both are very common things people use to clean their UTVs. Main reason I did the video is to see if the product that is designed to clean your machine actually works for the $$$.
I bent both crossmembers on my Pro XP before I even made it to the first oil change. I'm pretty impressed overall with the rest of the machine. I'm thinking a tube chassis may be in my future.
Yeah mine has held up pretty well for what I have put it through. It’ll be interesting to see how it does at the track this year. I really want to do a full chassis for racing but it wasn’t in the budget. Hoping that’s where we are headed though if all of the racing works out!
@@SchmidtysOffroad I don't race but like to hill climb and a tube chassis has a lot of advantages as well as safety over a stock body. I've been looking into the L&W fab lower frame kit. I've built a dune buggy frame before and a guy I know used to build rock crawlers and he's willing to help, so I'm going to build my own. I think I can build it for around 4k with the L&W fab kit and dom tubing. I have done a-arms, radius rods and trailing arms on my machine so I have most of the beefed up suspension components needed. I'm just starting out my channel and I'm definitely going to do some build videos. Good luck with your racing, I hope it gets you where you want to be.
