Numark ns6II trying to midi to slicer but it changes all my buttons cue auto loops now they all do stems. Any idea how to just keep it on the slicer mode.
Couldn’t respond on last comment…. I figured it out today. It’s an issue with the volume fader. Wish I could send a vid here. But once I turn the headphones volume knob above 40-50 it starts to short out… But the great thing after several months is that I figured it out bro… Hope it can be fixed asap because when I’m not playing out, I usually mix in my headphones.
The issue I’m having is that when I’m using RCA I have no issues on my Pioneer ddj sx2. However, when I use headphones, I notice that ever so often, there’s a red line in the wave form and then the track starts reversing and two of the FX buttons at the top lights up and it changes from hot cue at the pads and the censor plus the two FX buttons flashing while the right deck only reverses, even if it’s instant double. The issue only occurs on the right deck and almost only with headphones plugged in.
This happens to me this week . I’ve pushed the letter Q and the left deck is still going in reverse , I shut down serato and I even uninstalled and reinstalled. If anyone has ran into this problem of following the what serato has places as pushing the Letter Q or A and the issue is still happening help would be appreciated
@@TheDJConnect 1 st I’ve seen a thousand videos on this subject and you are saying the same thing everyone else is saying. 2. I’ve done this numerous times and I’m still having problems 3. If you actually read what I wrote , I’m asking a question because I clearly said I’m I’ve pushed the letter Q and it’s still going into reverse.
Hey so where do you get ur music from that’s where I’m struggling like am I gonna have to pay for it or can I use RU-vid Music? That’s the part I don’t understand like if I have to pay for it then I have to pay for it, but I just wanna know if I don’t. Is there another way or once I get iTunes will it just start popping up in serato dj pro
I posted this to another post on RU-vid but at this point I just need someone to show me what I need to be doing in order to stay connected. Please help Back in mid 2023 I finally decided to be a better house party DJ. I bought my DJ-Pro 505 and it came with Serato. I created a Roland and Serato account. I subscribed to Tidal after I was told that it interfaces with Serato. However I also bought TuneInMusic to help drag my many Apple, RU-vid music songs and playlists over to Serato. I had been working and learning it for months. So I took some time to focus on work but I’m back now. I went to start back DJ my moms party a few weeks ago and somehow I had lost all of the songs, the database that I once had was not there. It was no longer working and it was like it was back to the beginning. Now after Mac updates, driver updates, reboots after reboots I’m still dead in the water. I even said bump it I’ll subscribe to DJ Pro each month as long as things go back to normal. NOPE! I tried to call Roland and only get an auto attendant that continues to provide no help. I know that I should have been able to move that music, interface my library into Serato, and been back up. But for some reason I have a $1000 piece of fancy lights and nothing to show for it. Great video and look into an absolute beast of a research tool, no doubt about it. I use Spotify in my prep for almost every gig I do myself, and then Crate Hackers Spotify-importer to make a Serato crate out of it. I rarely use Spotify at the gig itself, the reason beeing that I feel I then lose some of my "defence" against song requests that is far out or straight up bad for the party. When they see me play a song from Spotify they know I have every song on earth (more or less) available. But when they just see Serato I can say that it's not in my collection. Is that an issue you ever run into? PS! The Spotify-story in it self is very unique and entertaining, it got made into a TV show called "The Playlist" a couple of years ago that I would very much recomend I you have not seen it. i bought a Dj Party Mix 2 and im using Tidal as my music. My question is that u downloaded Serato Dj Light and my music is not transfering to the controller what am i doing wrong can someone help
I used not use Spotify but saw the ease of it and now use it for ceremony, cocktail, dinner. I also started using offline mode ever since the music started buffing at a wedding bridal entrance and it was embarrassing 😂.

I have a TRS 1/4 inch & XLR PA audio cord. I tried to stream, and I tried to play music from my phone but it was way too quiet. On the quarter inch end of my cord I use the appropriate phone adapter. I've tried plugging it into my DDJ 1000. When I go to play Any Music from my phone it's way too quiet. I've tried different chords channels adjusting my gains fadders etc no luck. What would you use if you had to stream from your phone? Are you just using a computer/tablet? Thanks
So I'd run a y cable RCA to minijack, plug into your computer, RCA into a line on the srt You should for sure be able to plug a phone directly into a speaker tho I use Bluetooth now, I used to be scared and cable only but I don't care anymore Bluetooth is solid
@TheDJConnect maybe I didn't explain well, you took off the receiver from the speaker to connect to mic, and then you said "it's turn down" but if the speaker didn't have the receiver and any cable also, How did it sound? Jajajaja😅
Tried loading my usb onto cdjs 2000nx2. Had the format usb message. Pioneer said they don’t have a solution for it. My comp is a windows and will only format to exfat. What should I do?
what a load of rubbish? FAT32 filesystem only works on windows systems if the USB thumb drive is 32GB or less, anything bigger, the option disappears and that's it. If you are a rekordbox user and your laptop/pc is windows your in trouble because PIONEER still haven't opened up their CD's to work with EXFAT unless you buy the 3000's onwards i believe. you will need a mac to format your USB thumbdrive/HD to FAT32. MacOS is far more flexible when it comes to accepting file systems!! Windows isn't!!
Hi, I've followed your tutorial but when i hit files there no sound effects, do I have to download them, they were there when I first got the software, they seemed to of disappeared now. Thanks
Hey serato doesn't provide any samples at all They have sound FX but thats different completely There should be a link to a free pack for you tho in description
Great I'll give it a go thanks, just one thing I did have them at first can't understand they've gone now, and FX is that the echo, HPF, LPF flanger etc, I'm very new to this so sorry if it's a silly question
Ya Effects like flanger echo are effects that layer on top of the song you have playing Like actually changing it, A sample is just a sound effect you can hit and enable at any point
Cool, yeah so I've used that which is great especially when half way into a track you can mess about with it and it sounds great, as long as you don't do it with every track or like you say people get sick of it, I don't suppose you have a link for the free downloads for samples do ya, I love the air horn sounds etc, thanks
You said something like, the beat grid would never impact us, did you mean specifically to beat matching or all around? Wouldn’t the beat grid be important if you are using loop function? I’m still learning and love your content! Thank you!
Hey only really if you rely on the sync button When you're beat matching by ear it's irrelevant Like when you enable a 4 beat loop, it just engages exactly when you hit the button (loop on the cue pad mode AND if you have one on the top )
As long as your human timing is right, The beat grid can't hurt you 😂 But it you have to panic out and hit the button to sync, and the beat grid is wrong , You're almost ensured a train wreck Like with sexy back, If I ever hit sync I'm instantly fucked on that song cause the grid is wrong
@@TheDJConnect I’ve not used the sync button but loops is something I am trying to implement next & I thought by loop sets with the grid. Maybe my human timing is just that good 😂 Thanks for the reply!
@@djmorbidprincess8572 lol no worries There are a lot of things that can be controller specific I guess if your bpm is incorrect tho, the loop would be off
The best USB formatting, if you only ever plan on using a newer product such as CDJ-3000, XDJ-XZ, or XDJ-RX3 is exFAT as it's cross-platform compatible and has error correction whereas FAT32 does not.
