Good times. The black & white “good” edits😂, Tom hammering nanners, the tism laugh, heavy breathing, etc. Glad you stuck that last ride out! Appreciate y’all being there, and make sure you order a new throttle housing from Temu.
For sure! Dude I was looking for any excuses, just wanting that green light from y’all to turn back and I’m glad it was never given. The suck was GOOD. Believe it, $2.99 for a pack of 20!😂
Yea when we bought this the newest generation was rolling out and I was gonna buy one of those but they’re still carbureted also. Fuel injection would be huge for this bike, factory carb is garbage.
I don’t think you could go wrong with either. DRZ would be better for road riding because it’s heavier and the 500 would be better off-road because it’s lighter but both are great at all of it, just comes down to how much you want to spend and what you want.
No, it is not that expensive, you just need to change the end cap, and get the opened map, here in Austria, we get our bikes derestricted from the factory. So a meet up with an KTM dealer should make the deal, he will map your bike.
@totiwars8333 that’s now how it works here in the states. Dealers suck and they won’t modify your bike especially this one being a road legal bike and turning involving emissions so my option is a aftermarket ECU that’s pretuned. ECU and endcap are $1,500.

Yea you gotta be pushing 50mph to make that hill so new roots might send you all wonky which that and it being wet and slick makes the recovery sketchy. The vertical view made the ride down look slower than it was but those roots almost kicked me over my bars🥴
Hi Megan. New subscriber here. I’m so glad I found your channel! Sorry to hear about your injury but it’s good to see you riding! I’m relatively new to dirt biking and bought myself a bike way out of my skill level last year (GasGas EX350f) but I’ve learned a lot. I’d like to buy a bike for my wife now, who is not sure she wants to even try it but I think she’d like it. I’m very interested in the KLX 140 for her. And if I’m being honest, I think I’d like riding it too! She’s 43 yo, 5’3” tall and about 155 lbs. Do you think she could handle the 140 with the big wheels?
Hey! Honestly I love this bike, I’ll say it over and over again, I do think it’s a great starter bike! Sounds like she’s around my height too, so being able to touch the ground is a big confidence booster, it obviously doesn’t have that much power either so that should help. Never imagined myself riding either, and here I am 🤘 just let her take it slow and of course have fun 😊
@@TheKernables Thanks for the vote of confidence. I’m looking to buy one for her based largely on your content! Utah riding looks much different from your forested hills but still fun to ride. Can’t wait to try the KLX 140 rf.
No this was our first trip to Ohio but I’d be down to give it a shot. Is there any good single track there also or is crazy horse the main thing for bikes?
@@TheKernables It's definitely not the most technical haha just nut up and get enough momentum to carry you to the top. The short sloppy run up doesn't help.
Good times brotha! Thanks for the peer pressure😂 Lol @ the dog!! Videos will never do it justice but I am glad you got up it, can't wait to splat my horn.
Absolutely!! And anytime! And they never do that’s exactly why I was so nervous, especially after playing on the small once’s at the beginning of the day and realizing how steep they were in person compared to video😅 I bet you’ll get it FIRST TRY!
Bro this bike was my daily driver to literally everywhere. Everyone loved that thing. The clutch chain broke and I let my dad talk me out of getting rid of it like an idiot
I got a question man main issue with my ct200u is my back wheel bearings are pretty worn is that a big deal? I don’t notice it too much when riding but I just know there pretty worn is that something that could effect too much?
