Looks good. The clearish hose you use. Doesn’t look air rated for that pressure

I was on board trying this until I saw you had to move the idler.... I think I'll try auxillary pully off the alternator. I had it working great like this for a few years until my crown vic compressor bearing shit the bed.... Then the aluminum housing cracked when I replaced the bearing ;(

The coupler fitting can be covered with a rubber chair foot. Usually available in different sizes. Use a bulkhead fitting to go through the bumper etc. There's small 12v pressure switches that are way more compact, just run it inline with the switch. They're like $10 on Amazon

A Sanden 709 from 97-06 Jeeps Wrangler (7 cyl, 9cfm per 1000rpm) may be an easier option. Seal them up and use grease then no oil use or to deal with.

Really cool. How many cfm those compressors put out?

York 210 means 10 cfm

@@gtowncasey111 Actually, the "10" in the 210 part number means approximately 10 cubic inches per revolution (10.3 to be exact). That calculates out to just under 4.5 cfm at a 750 rpm engine idle speed.

i as well have a 2007 with the 5.9 but you have way more room under that hood. i have the exhaust brake which requires a vac pump mounted on the driver side of the engine. i also have A/C so flipping the alternator like you did will not work for me because the A/C pump is there. i was hoping this video might shed a little light to my lack of room under the hood. still a fantastic setup and i hope it runs for a very long time. i do have one question, why not put the york on the driverside? seems like there would have been much more room over there.
