The coupler fitting can be covered with a rubber chair foot. Usually available in different sizes. Use a bulkhead fitting to go through the bumper etc. There's small 12v pressure switches that are way more compact, just run it inline with the switch. They're like $10 on Amazon
I was on board trying this until I saw you had to move the idler.... I think I'll try auxillary pully off the alternator. I had it working great like this for a few years until my crown vic compressor bearing shit the bed.... Then the aluminum housing cracked when I replaced the bearing ;(
i as well have a 2007 with the 5.9 but you have way more room under that hood. i have the exhaust brake which requires a vac pump mounted on the driver side of the engine. i also have A/C so flipping the alternator like you did will not work for me because the A/C pump is there. i was hoping this video might shed a little light to my lack of room under the hood. still a fantastic setup and i hope it runs for a very long time. i do have one question, why not put the york on the driverside? seems like there would have been much more room over there.
