Dios, Dios, Dios, pero qué voz!!!! Increible en todos los registros, increible. Qué genial interpretación!!! Espero que tenga mucha suerte, y pueda, en los grandes escenarios de la Opera.
I wonder if the "magical herb" to help her to heal her heart-soul forbidden love feelings and get some rest oblivion, is the St John´s wort or hypericum, helping on relieving mood changes and mild depression states uplifting serotonin levels so she could move on her fixated toughts about it and then heal herself indeed naturally. Still she might be able to collect the herb at day time too, unless it was forbidden to collect it under suspecting witchery issues on that time, instead of a healing issue as very few people knew about it and why it helped on that back then. Maybe the herb grew somewhere else, but so far Ulrica will certainly knew it grew at the hanging yard for executions outside of the town village area, as collecting it on the forest could have been more dangerous to do it as a lone woman or anyone else inded in the unknown wilderness then.
This is a seriously underestimated work. Powerful drama, deep if not symmetrical melody, and a finely worked out drama combine to create a rare masterpiece . Zandonai is a fine orchestrator, and this opera uses the instrumentation to enhance and intensify the drama as do very few.
Che bella e piacevole sorpresa. Voce piena, armonici da vero lirico con velature scure che trasmettono emozioni,bella linea di canto. É un piacere ascoltarla. 🌹🙏
No sólo está muy bien cantado, sino además Saioa se ve muy guapa con ese vestido azul y la capa, el que diseñó el vestuario ha sabido hacer justicia al físico de esta artista.
Si vas al canal de la propia Saioa hay algunas grabaciones con una calidad de sonido superior a esta. Yo pude verla hace nada en directo cantando Nabucco, y en los momentos críticos estuvo totalmente a la altura del papel, con una vocalización impecable en momentos críticos como "salgo giá nel trono aurato" que algunas sopranos célebres del siglo pasado ni te enteras de lo que están diciendo cuando la cantan y sólo se percibe una pirotecnia vocal indefinida. Su expresión corporal por cierto muy apropiada para el papel de la malvada Abigaille.
Es que la música de esta ópera es impresionante, es como una cascada de sonidos, fuertemente emotiva. Saioa esta genial, la puesta en escena minimalista y adusta, distante pero fuertemente simbólica. Recuerdo la versión con Magda Olivero y el fantástico del Monaco, la Scala del 59. Saludos cordiales.
Es una gran soprano spinto o dramática y si, es verdad hay pocas, pero tbien se necesitan las más líricas y más ligeras.....y de estas últimas también las hay muy buenas....
