Great video, however. It gets to #8 which is like over halfway through and it’s still “not a Tim burton style movie” which at that point there’s more “non burton” than there is “burton”. I generally agree though just thought it was amusing!
When I tell you i couldn’t think of anything else for the segment but I unironically just yell “SCISSORMAN?!” For absolutely no reason so it felt obvious 😂
1:34 The twist in Signs isn’t just that the aliens are allergic to water, but how it ties into the film's theme of fate. Graham's wife’s dying words weren’t random-they were telling him how to defeat the aliens, showing there are no coincidences. Merrill’s baseball swing and the glasses of water scattered by Graham’s daughter all come together, proving everything had a purpose. The movie isn’t just about an alien invasion; it’s about Graham rediscovering his faith and realizing that everything happens for a reason.
Out of the ones I’ve seen: 01) Edward Scissorhands 02) Ed Wood 03) Batman 04) Beetlejuice 05) Batman Returns 06) Sleepy Hollow 07) Mars Attacks 08) Planet Of The Apes 09) Charlie And The Chocolate Factory
@@XanderandFriends773 Yeah Ed Wood was hilarious but nothing will ever change my mind that Edward Scissorhands is one of the greatest films ever made and easily Burton’s best.
@@sunnygirl523 Even though I wasn’t a huge fan of it, I see the appeal. It’s definitely a better sequel than something like KFP 4 or any of those sequels that change too much and doesn’t feel like a sequel

I actually really like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for being more book accurate and I also really like Alice in Wonderland for the same reason. Alice also is just comfort food for me. 😄 I do think that Alice is more of a re-imagining than a remake, because it doesn't follow the original movie at all. Great video, btw. 😊
@@PascallionXIII Charlie is MAD overhated. It’s definitely not the Gene Wilder film but I really don’t think that’s what it was trying. And Alice is in the same boat. Thanks for the support!
I am such a fan of ranking videos .question could you do a video on singers transitiong to the movis or tvshows I fell like that's a interesting topic and I would love to inspire at least one of your videos
@@PoppyMorreale OOOOO! That’s a good one! I immediately think of like Taylor Swift in Amsterdam or Donald Glover in Atlanta! That’s a good idea! Thanks for commenting!
Biopics are as old as cinema itself, so i don't see them completely going away, but studios and writers need to realize that people *don't* want the truth embellished or fictionalized. Dramatized is one thing, but there has to be a limit to it, otherwise it's not biographical.
@@CinnamonGrrlErin1 I get what you’re saying. Reagan was a BEAUTIFUL example of a biopic spending more time WORSHIPPING its focus rather than telling the focus’ story.
@XanderandFriends773 today's writers really need to go back and look at the kind of biopics that were made in the 90s, like Chaplin or What's Love Got to Do With It or A League of Their Own. They don't try to make their subjects into people they never were, they pretty much just tell the stories with some added, but not too exaggerated, dramatization.
I don’t think I’ve seen a biopic movie. Unless you count Unfrosted which should not be an example. The only one I’m showing interest in is the upcoming Piece by Piece. I think it’s cool that Pharrell Williams decided he wanted to make an animated lego film. Plus I really like his music.
Oddly enough, I would consider 2018 the year of superhero films because there were definitely a quantity of superhero movies during that time with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Incredibles 2, Deadpool 2, Black Panther, Aquaman, Vemon, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Teen Titans Go to the Movies, and Avengers: Infinity War.
I assure you all people from Ohio talk like that. No, but seriously it’s not intentional, I’m still trying to figure out a style that works for me and if I came off a little Wozzy here, it definitely wasn’t intentional 😊
The best thing about Sherlock Gnomes is that it means Gnomeo And Juliet is no longer a standalone movie. The worst thing about it is that it’s ass. 10:40 Woohedecidedtomakeanameforhimselfthere
The twist should have been the whole audience, the raven woman, AND his family was all in on trapping him at the concert. He couldn’t even come up with a better name for a serial killer, “the butcher”? How derivative. There would be no concert stadium that allowed a gaping hole to open in an aisle. A random dude wouldn’t be able to walk alone, without security, into a small room with a famous diva. Just awful.
Last year wasn't an amazing year for animation in my opinion and even I think it's top tier solely because of Across The Spiderverse (sorry I haven't seen the boy and the heron yet)
Holy hell, i didn't notice you were a small channel Welp I'm not much of commenting, liking and subscribing I like you content :3 Keep up the great work ❤️
@@Screenkid23what I would recommend after a Quick Look at your channel is definitely find the content that fits for you. Other than that the obvious stuff like thumbnails and SEO research. And I can’t stress enough that nobody gets it right away. It took me years to find what content I like to make. But I’m sure you’ll find yours! 😊
@XanderandFriends773 Uh... Free Birds. You know, that movie where two turkeys go back in time to the first Thanksgiving to get turkeys off the menu. Um... Escape From Planet Earth... uh... T-... Turbo. Uh... Hey, look at that! It's Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, Monsters University, and The Croods! Finally, some good 2013 animated movies. And then there's also... um... Epic? I think? I dunno, I think that was a fever dream we all had. There was also Planes! The Disney ripoff of Cars. Um... D... Despicable. Me. 2. Oh! And also, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. That also released. Uh... there might have been some other stuff, but I'm not sure.
