Those 2 levers look like a pain to use, can you do a video of this in operation showing the controls? I'm used to a joystick and want to know the idea behind using 2 different levers.
The main machine pto belt is a pain in the ass to change. I wish that one wasn’t a belt. I like the belt to the attachment, easy to change. But the main pto belt sucks to change.
If those outside mirrors aren't heated they'd be pretty useless quick in a snowstorm. It should have at least one inside rearview mirror. I plow up in Maine.
So you made your loader controls different from every other manufacture and then called that intuitive? Then you make a switch you have to hit every time verses just a switch that stays in one position and are trying to sell that as a feature? This machine looks like it has so much potential but Ventrac has some really weird engineering. Please tell my why you don't have a regular joystick to operate the loader, this makes no sense at all.
Hey Pete - Thanks for watching a few of our videos recently. After reading through all of your comments, I think you should definitely find a local dealer to demo a Ventrac. We design some things a little differently, but it's all for a purpose. Most of our professional customers buy our equipment precisely BECAUSE it's intuitive to use and because we get a lot of work done quickly. Some of the machine advantages actually are kind of unbelievable until you experience them for yourself. If you have any questions in the meantime, let me know! -Zach @ Ventrac
@@ventrac I would but its your loader that keeps me from looking further. I can't imagine using anything less capable then my 1025R loader. I use my loader all the time and can't justify 2 machines.
2 hours to dig that little hole with equipment that costs top dollar. How is this impressive? Any compact tractor would have dug that hole in about ten minutes. Seriously, I'm trying to understand this machine and so far all I see it doing well is mowing on a sidehill having all other attachments being really expensive an only so so in performance. Can someone please show me the value in this machine?
Way overpriced specialized equipment that only works on their machine. The only thing I can see the Ventrac does well is mow on a side hill and that's about it. Get a bobcat or tractor for all the other tasks and you'll be way ahead.
You didn't show scraping of high spots and filling in low spots. All you did was go over perfectly flat ground which is never the case. Now lets see what this thing can do in a huge open area with many high and low area's to level out? None of those attachments would work for that.
I have a question for Aaron Graber. With the new front loader what about making a AUGER attachment so I can do post holes for my possible future fence building company. If you do what about making it so there is a way to preset depth adjustments. And fwd or reverse drilling ability.
Awesome tractor, spent hours on one at a GC. However changing front implements is a challenge to make happen, sometimes try and try again for much too long. I’d still own one in a heart beat.
Have a 4520 at work we really like it. Only down fall when it’s dry out I have to stop every 30 minutes to clean out the screen on the radiator so it doesn’t over heat.
Please have more information regarding future products in advance. Not a lot of information shared and I just purchased 4520 and would’ve waited for this… I’m having to add the kits myself
As someone who spent 15 minutes trying to connect two of the wrong weatherpak connectors together because I'm an idiot when putting my dual front hydraulic kit on, this factory option makes a lot of sense! 🤣
You're funny, my ventrac dealer has 14 john deere tractors and zero turns traded in on ventrac, plus 5 Kubotas. The JD won't do what a ventrac will do.
Have you looked into creating an attachment to do forestry mulching? I saw a stand-on skid steer the other day that had one that was small but very effective and wondered why Ventrac didn't offer something similar. The tough-cut just doesn't quite go far enough on the real heavy stuff.
If your orange machine is a subcompact you’re not comparing apples to apples. This machine is awesome but doesn’t come close in performance to my 35hp tractor when it’s get tough time.
@@timsimpson4579when it comes to versatility and performance I’m apt to say that the Ventrac has it covered. My dad has the Kubota BX 2380 and my Ventrac can go clear the brush on his 5 acres because his can’t maneuver on the 25 degree slopes his land has. And that small compact tractor cost right at 30k
