I've done a LOT of digging with my 4227 and 4500Z to level areas for above ground pools, shed pads, etc. There are certainly larger machines that may do it faster, but NOT with the light footprint of the Ventrac. If you REALLY want to maximize efficiency in even the toughest most compacted soil conditions, put the bucket on the 3 point and an earth busting attachment on the front, like the Power Rake or the Trencher to loosen compacted dirt first, then remove with the bucket
Great video. This is exactly what a lot of people were wanting to see. I was curious myself how deep it would dig. Hopefully it does not take as long filling it back in.
@@ventrac yes it was. I was curious to see how deep it could dig. Definitely a awesome machine. Are there any plans to make teeth for the bucket? Doesn’t look like it needs any but curious to see if it would help in digging.
Why would you not have all four wheels on it I would have to imagine the two best selling accessories I imagine would be four-wheel kit and the rough cut
2 hours to dig that little hole with equipment that costs top dollar. How is this impressive? Any compact tractor would have dug that hole in about ten minutes. Seriously, I'm trying to understand this machine and so far all I see it doing well is mowing on a sidehill having all other attachments being really expensive an only so so in performance. Can someone please show me the value in this machine?
