Hi! Do finance clubs also recruit members in spring/winter quarter or only in the fall? Also do members have to stay for min 3 quarters or 2..?! Thank you!
It really depends on the specific kind of finance club. The more competitive the club is, the more likely that they will also recruit winter/spring quarter. But it really depends. Most recruit in fall.
For the second part of the question. It also really depend on which club it is. I suggest going to the info sesions on the clubs that you are interested in.!

AYOOOOOO! Let's gooo. When you are picking classes through uchicago website, each page of the specific class would guide you to the previous rating of the specific class taught by the specifc professor (by then you will know). I would not worry too much because basically in your first year most of the courses would be core (and relatively basic, does not really depend on the prof). I would also consult senior friends who have taken the class before! Congrats again!
For the video editing, I'd say imovie is what most people have, and it'll be easier than learning another software and do a great job if you're paying attention to be professional/unique with your transitions, mixing, and/or text. Audio and video quality is arguably more important than rushing to learn cheesy effects. But ultimately, any choices in 'video' should add to one's personality, which is most important since, based on what I read on forums, there are many (maybe most) accepted videos that aren't uploaded to RU-vid that don't involve or minimizes editing -it's just them talking. Otherwise, this video is a great and overdue resource!
For my UChicago video, could I just make a video talking about the different things I did inside of the multiple clubs I was in? Because there is not one significant thing I did. But would just talking about my clubs be good enough?
OMG I DID THE SAME PROMPT FOR MY ESSAY! i did it with edgar allan poe and how he was a musician in london and joined a band. the band like broke up and he was sad but he still had virginia…until she died in a car crash. then he decided to kill himself and his former band mates by inviting them to a campfire where their surroundings were covered in gasoline and everything blew up. i really like how this prompt gives you a variety of options to choose from lol
