His Majesty being unnerved and waving at the protesters like “yes I am mate” is just hilarious bet that annoyed them haha. What a legend 😂 God Save the King🇬🇧
Always thrilling to hear the main Star Wars theme, especially played well. Agree with you regarding Wellington Barracks for viewing. As always, thanks for this!
I believe the piece that starts out about 6:24 and becomes more audible around 6:37 is an arrangement of El Cumbachero. The Band of the Welsh Guards steps off with the march, Trafalgar, leading the new guard, a detachment from Nijmegen Company, Grenadier Guards, to the palace.
❤ Gracefull Scotland. Of my part you keep England. And funny for remember to me important thing than God give my on time firt century year 2000. Since that time, only stoping in that until you remembered. Because I knowed was big thing. All is too many.
Camilla is Queen Consort as willed by the late royal Queen Elizabeth. King Charles should not go against his dead mother's decision to call her Queen, especially a divorcee with grown up children & grandchildren.
His Majesty King Charles now carries the duty as monarch after HMTL Queen Elizabeth passed away, with Prince William, father of three (10, 8 and 6 yo) as the next king..and this is his cavalry..woww 👏
His Majesty King Charles III will be accompanied by Her Majesty (Colonel, Grenadier Guards), HRH the Prince of Wales (Colonel, Welsh Guards), HRH the Princess Royal (Gold Stick in Waiting and Colonel of the Blue and Royals) and HRH the Duke of Edinburgh (Colonel, Scot Guards)
When the Foot Guards march past? The first piece of music is called: Earl Alexander of Tunis. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D2o55hSsxgM.html Watch & pause at 13:00 mins to see the full Programme of Music!
Thank you for sharing your program with us - what a delight to see it. However, The officer who took the salute on behalf of Catherine, Princess of Wales, on June 8th was Lt Colonel James Bucknall, KCB, CBE, Colonel of the Coldstream Guards, not Major General J M Bowder.
@@Royal.Knowledge Hello, and many thanks for sharing the programme as well as for your other videos - I know how much work can go into making these videos. However, one important thing I've seen which I think needs to be clarified concerns the officer who took the salute on 8 June. In your correction in your description you refer to Sir James Bucknall as Lt Colonel. However, in the programme itself he is shown as Lt General. If you look at 07:50 in your video, this is on the left-hand page of the programme, under the heading "2. Arrival of the Sovereign". He might not be very pleased if you've demoted him!
With the footguards, though they are the second regiment (hence buttons in pairs) the Coldstream Guards unless trooping their colour will always be on the left flank or nbr 6 guard. This reflects their motto “Nulli Secundus” or “Second to None”. The Grenadiers as the senior regiment would always be on the right flank with the Scots in the middle as they traditionally had the tallest guardsmen.
On the 1st and 8th June there is no one sat in there, it's just part of the rehearsal. But next week there will be members of the Royal Family, hopefully!
It mentions "Accompanies by the Royal Colonels of he Household Division Regiments" after His Majesty The King. I would be willing to bet they aren't putting the exact names because they don't know if The Princess of Wales will be there. If she can't make it because of doctors orders, it would be weird to say she is in the procession. If she can make it, it would be rude to leave her out.
The New Quick March "Ballyragget" The march is named after a tank. that comes from the name of a Town in Ireland This tank also took part in the Battle of Normandy! It was control by Sir John Gorman, an officer of the 2nd Battalion Irish Guards.
Trooping the Colour happens on June 15th. The Major General's Review is June 1st. The Colonels' Review is June 8th. The program is similar each time, but King Charles is only there on the 15th.
They have the foot guards but also the mounted cavalry. The lead gun is seen as their 'colour' and the Life Guards and Blues & Royals are the King's Escort. The ceremony evolved over the centuries to become the Sovereign's Birthday Parade, so the mounted cavalry salute the Sovereign as they pass.
Infantry (foot guards and bands), cavalry (horse guards and bands), and artillery (King's Troop). The latter are named for King George VI, not King Charles.
Another Spiffing Video Miss London Royal! Most enjoyable to watch! The Corps of Drums sounded excellent!
