Hi London Royal. Great Video of the Scots Guards Black Sunday commemorations. The lament is Flowers of the Forest. It's always played at Remembrance Sunday. Always a a good turn out by the Scots Guards for their Black Sunday. I was there 2 years ago when it was the 40th anniversary of the The Falklands Campaign. That was a really impressive turnout by the Veterans. Scots Guards received a Battle Honour for their capturing of Mount Tumbledown. The only infantry regiment that doesn't have all this bowlers and umbrellas nonsense to distuinguish officers from the ranks!
Splendid video. You have to admire the dignity and pride of all those taking part. Great to see the band in ranks of 6 and to see and hear the pipes, they add that extra special element. Thank you for making and sharing this video👍
This was a lovely parade, everyone looked so good and marched so well. I’m not Scottish but I adore the Scottish pipes and drums, wonderful sound as was the Guard’s band. A poignant occasion well done. Thank you for video 😊
Absolutely Wonderful, I loved all of this video. Love to see the Scots Guards, the choice of tunes perfect. I am Scottish, I love the bagpipes especially, but it is a bit sad to see so few pipers in this Scots Guards parade . Love the history of the Scots Guards too.
The Duke of Kent has been Colonel of the Scots Guards since 1976 he has already retired as President of the All England Lawn Tennis Club popularly known as Wimbledon.
Great video!! A Goosebumps moment at 9:27!! Just Spiffing! For those interested the marches played were, 1) 1:15-Edinburgh Castle & The Soldier's Return 2) 6:04-Flower of Scotland (Return to Barracks) 3) 7:57-Old Comrades (Alte Kameraden) 4) 9:05-79th's Farewell to Gibraltar 5) 11:20-Crags of Tumbledown Mountain 6) 12:50-Highland Laddie (Hielan Laddie)

Yes they do get in the way! Unfortunately the 'chosen' media were blocking my way and I wanted to be on the near side to see the soldiers arriving. If I wasn't expecting, I would have run around but I hope you still enjoyed it!
