Yulia Gagarina, born in Russia. At the tender age of 6, she enrolled in a dance studio where she explored various dance styles and quickly became a soloist.
Then came to prestigious choreographic school. Under the mentorship of the brilliant Victor Vasyutin, a distinguished graduate of the Leningrad School (now the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet), Yulia faced challenges but persevered. After two years of relentless hard work, she earned solo roles in ballets and the opportunity to perform in theaters. Upon graduating from the academy, she taught elementary dance classes before advancing her studies to become a choreographer.
Yulia’s career took her to Moscow, She then traveled to Thailand eventually opened her own studio a year before moving to California. Her studio catered to students aged 2 to 65, reflecting her inclusive and passionate teaching approach.
Hey dear Yulia, great dance training, the girls. I looked at it very carefully. I not iced the girl who was dancing in the back with the glasses. She did the dance combination really well, 👏👏 and of course the others did too, but I liked it best. Then another nice workout. Greetings Mike 🍀🌹🌞
Hi :) In this video we are working on upper body flexion Deflection in the upper part of the body is one of the most important parts of ballet, in this video the deflection is minimal, the main thing is not to let go of the belly and hold the buttocks tightly, the twisting goes from the top of the head to the 7th thoracic vertebrae.
Hi, thank you very much for the great training videos. I think the trainings have very good energy. I would love to see more training focused on conditioning strength and flexibility. Do you do any tests to compare how the girls do in fitness and stretching test?
@@Joli_ballet Yes, thank you very much for the answer, and I will look forward to the strength and flexibility videos. Do you use static stretching or do you also use other types of stretching? How many training sessions do the girls have per week?
@@kajanovotna854 i use dynamic stretching, post isometric relaxation stretching, little bit of passive stretching, and also it’s depending of the student some needs more passive some more dynamic 😊
@@Joli_ballet Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for the description of the types of stretchers you use. Do you require a certain level of flexibility from students? Over a period of time? Maybe by testing different elements and exercises? Example of splits levels left right leg? Or do you work with students that their flexibility is not checked using tests? In the dance team, a period of time was set before which the given student has the ability to do it. I also wanted to ask if you participate in any international competitions? Or is the concept of your dance lessons more of a private type?
Ore e ore di sacrifici e allenamenti. Ore e ore, infinite ore di movimenti ripetuti fino alla nausea. Il risultato sarà movimenti meravigliosi che fanno sembrare la danza leggera come una piuma. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@Joli_ballet I clicked translate to English, and they said, "Hours and hours of sacrifices and training. Hours and hours, endless hours of repeated movements and nauseum. The result will be beautiful movements that make the dance seem as light as a feather. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤"
@@JuniorMinnow Thank you very much for the translation ! I am very grateful 🙏 yes the author of this post is absolutely right, only I as well as my teachers measure practice not in hours but in repetitions. For example, a minimum of 1000 repetitions to consolidate the tendu🤍
Thank you 🙌 You know, yes in ballet it is customary to keep the hips level, but without shifting the diagonal of the hip and lining it up with the supporting hip, it is almost impossible to lift the leg up high ❤ thanks for your support 💝
@@AnupamaSuresh-h6f hello, there is no really have a limit ! Have professional ballet and for everyone. In my experience, I've met students from 2 x years old to 67 a person of age can attend ballet, and preferably with people of a similar age, there must be a special program
