When working out (particularly with kettlebells) using correct form & technique is incredibly important to stay safe & injury free

In 2021 we completed a kettlebell fundamentals coaching course & would recommend everyone completes some sort kettlebell education, particularly if new to kettlebells

As well as follow along workouts we also review fitness products & tech

Currently 6 weeks out from my first hyrox doubles. Just ran my first 9.3km in 60 minutes yesterday. I’ve done 2 half sims in training. Strength is good as I’ve been doing gym work consistently for about 6 months. What should I focus on? Long runs? Intervals? Or just as many hyrox type sessions as I can get in? Thanks!

Thanks 🙏 for your comment. At 6 weeks out now 4 (as your comment from 2 weeks ago), I’d suggest keeping your training Hyrox specific, so a mix / blend of the core strength + aerobic capacity - ie running / erg work. Key 🔑 thing is to also make sure you taper reducing training volume significantly over 7-14 days before your race. To perform and peak on race day itself you want to be fresh, well rested and fuelled and that means easing up as you get close to race day. Wish you well with your Hyrox race.

A weight that is possible for you to complete between 6-10 reps, but that is challenging is a good place to start

Lol dude WTF! You're overtraining a lot. Clear visceral fat, I bet you workout a lot in high heart rates, but no easy endurance cardio. You burn muscles instead of fat. Please don't advice people online with this workout.

I’ve not done padel, so hard to comment. I wouldn’t use them for tennis 🎾 if that a helpful comparison. To stiff / hard in the heel.

Nice work out. I raced you all the way round at Manchester last year - recognised you from the thumbnail. You were definitely much stronger on the stations than me. My running pace helped me though 😊

The Test is one of the biggest marketing scams at all.... I've choosen pliability for that reason, to have the test and results. But it's only mention in one short paragraph in the help section: there is no android or mac or desktop (webcam?) version of the test. It's only available to iOS users on an iPhone. There is no time mentioned on their homepage if it will ever be on android. Thats a hgue dislike for the company and their marketing promises around that feature...

Ok thanks for this video- i am training hand over hand and its ok at the gym- the slower texhnique using your leg chews up so much time and smashes the legs for the 1 km coming up vs pure upper body and twice as quick. You dont use much upper body on a run so i think hand over hand is the far superior technique

Very helpful. Why do you set the stations to duration zero rather than expected time? I assume that if a run takes longer than expected the timer it keeps going till you double tap the screen?

Only works if the owner of the equipment has chosen (and therefor pay Technogym for as it’s an optional extra software option)to enable GymKit, unfortunately, everyone active gyms in the UK have chosen not to do that!

Can you please do a follow along workout . 30 minutes. Example farmers carry- wall ball-lunges, ran section change to plate hops or skipping rope. Thank you. I’m 60 years trying to train for a Hyrox event by December 2024.

Honestly I have done this for a week and it’s great. I stretched a lot before downloading this app and did yoga and right off the bat there were several stretches and mobility movements I have never seen before

We made the video to address that same issue that we also had experienced ourselves ahead of signing up, I.e. showing what is inside the app, how the routines work to we hope help others assess if the app and routines will or won’t be right for them. Sorry to hear it hasn’t done this for you. To address your specific accusation, the review was not paid for nor did the company have any involvement or prior knowledge of the review being made.

I think it’s terrible idea to not show users what they be paying 16£ every month ?? I don’t like giving my card details just to see the inside of the app
