Hello, and thank you for clicking on this channel…
Back in the 2007/08 football season I took a camera to a few Sunderland AFC games and made videos of my away days. After a number of years, I have started doing it again on this channel. These videos focus on the day out, showing the atmosphere in & around the stadium, pubs and even public transport as opposed to the match itself.
I also make similar videos for other sporting events such as the NFL London Games, as-well as concerts.

Hi Eddy - Perfect week - tough going at Hull, then Isidor did a sprint, jink and dink to score. Luton tried to rough us up, but our class prevailed. RLB made sure that we weren't complacent today. We've very good players and RLB gets them playing optimally against opposition. Totally agree about Dan Neil - Give him a break - he's a good player who's done a decent job for around 2 years in a role he's not best suited to playing pretty much 90 minutes of every game - he's done it for the team. L09 got criticism at centre half despite every single manager continually playing him there. Keyboard warriors should perhaps consider that managers might know players better than they do. On a separate note - any idea why SAFC website now has a blue theme? It looks odd. Cheers. Jim
I’m curious, but do other clubs’ fans have the same nostalgic yearn for historic stuff that we appear to have, or is it just that our past successes are so rare that we need a permanent reminder of them? I suspect that Hummel must think they are playing a blinder since getting back into bed with us! 😳
Nah lots of clubs are cashing in on the nostalgia. But we haven’t ever done it properly until. Hummel are 100% earning more from us than anyone else at the moment (bar Denmark I presume)
@@EddyBamber Yeah I went to a talk in with Bruce and the Hummel CEO and they confirmed we're their biggest club at the minute. Also we had more sales than PSG when the kit launched at the same time as theirs.
Hi Eddy - wouldn't disagree with your prediction other than I think we'll be in automatic places provided we don't get injury crisis. Luton fans believed they could beat us by being physical (aka sh**housing and roughing us up). Game showed we can stand firm under pressure with real steel as well as silky skills. Other results help us tonight - great win by smoggies. We seem to be getting the rub of the green so maybe this is our time. Cheers - Jim
Cheers Jim! I totally agree, and that tactic of kicking us has always worked so well agile us in previous years. It looks like we finally have a manager & players who can rise above it and deal with it. Its so impressive and makes me even more confident that they really can maintain this until the end of the season. Its just so exciting!
Fair play , 2 chances 2 goals but the real deal I don’t think so. First half you were dominated and lost the ball so many times in your own half . Luton’s goal at the end of the first half was legitimate and that may have changed the outcome
@@DavidH-zg8yv We aren't going to dominate every game, especially away. The best teams (and usually the ones that get promoted) grind out wins when not at their best. We are going up.
The lads dug really deep for that win. Well happy with that. Think if I had to watch a team like Luton every week I’d quit going to the match. Awful to watch.
I think you have been getting lucky breaks just at the right times. Our disallowed goal was miles onside! Then we gift you the ball in the penalty area. You get a point at Leeds because the keeper just let's the ball go in. You'll come unstuck soon.
@@robertbrown3660 I’m sorry but Leeds first goal shouldn’t have stood miles offside and should have had a penalty so don’t get where yous are coming from where we have been lucky this season because we have had just as many things against us so far this season but I do agree that it wasn’t offside at the end of the first half
IMO first half we were totally dominated in practically everything and start of the second half was faster in tempo but Luton still had 60% control but after we scored we totally dominated Luton but at the end Luton began to push and Aaron Connolly could have had his first goal of the season but there defender got there just in time but we move on to Oxford now big statement for our attempt for promotion so HWTL!!!!!🔴⚪️🔴⚪️🔴⚪️🔴⚪️🔴🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝
You played well for about 10 minutes but both your goals came from fouls. Luton first goal NOT offside. AND should have been penalty at the end for Luton. Your luck will run out soon enough.
@@aragornelessar956 I agree that your offside should have stood mate but we have had a lot of desicions against Sunderland like against Leeds we could have won that game but the referee didn’t give a offside for there first goal and yes VAR should come to the championship if most clubs could afford it
Since our good start, I've said we can afford one defeat a month, as long as we win the majority of games. 9 to 10 defeats seem to be the maximum for teams who go up automatically over recent years. So, for me, I don't see why we can't get 13 points from these games
A suspension for Trai wouldn't be a major problem. ATM. RLB has always said we can play 3 at back. Alternately L09 could move to RB with Ballard returning to centre back. Luton fans are getting hopes up after beating Watford and thinking playing same way as second play-off semi final will take us down, but we're not suffering from major defensive shortages and lots of exhausted players. I think RLB will have a strategy to counter their approach.
You'd think he's thrown the game. Conspiracy theories abound. The shock and embarrassment on his face shows it was an aberration. He may have had some concussion too.
I think they'll save the blue and yellow Vaux kits for the coming seasons and do their own take on them, like they have with this seasons home and away shirts. I'd love a re-release of the old warm up jersey, the red one with black sleeves.
An obvious point needs to be made… these are counterfeits. They are robbing the club’s and Hummel’s intellectual property and none of us should buy them. Trading Standards should be taking an active interest in this sub-standard DH Gate stuff!
Nice one Eddy, hope Connolly does get a first team start and moves on with Sunderland. Another 3 points would be great to keep our position up there, Good video , keep it up
Another good video Eddy and I completely agree with your views about Aaron Connolly. However, your little comment about a blackout kit, oh my god do we need this! Imagine a Hummel retro blackout kit! Contact them! Immediately! 😂
