You’re a very good teacher!! I need lots of visual examples as color theory is fascinating, yet difficult for me. I’d love to see what “warm black” looks like. Does it lean brown?? I can’t tell blacks apart…they all just look black!! 😅 Maybe you can include this question sometime?? Thank you.
Yes I just scored black pants and top that hides my apple tummy 2 dresses, blues jeans tags on still gray jogger knit skort&skirt, and the top is lacy animal print that goes with my wardrobe I have now and dresses that can be seen too my size and black and blue jeans that I will upcycle into vest dresses so they double for winter dresses over my turtle neck sweaters. The blouse is made into a butterfly shape sown over a black tank top.
I've lost 40lbs.since March, and nothing fits!😂 I just bought new bras and jean shorts, but I'm going to wait on buying a lot. I've still got another 20-30lbs to go, and I'll need fall clothing by then anyway. I need to get used to dressing like a 'thin person' again❤
Hey Christie, thanks for being vulnerable and sharing the story about your mother, it was beautiful ❤️🙏 And the rest of the video was valuable as well 😀
I discovered colour analysis last month and found it very interesting so I bought a online analysis since the in person had too long waiting list. And they told me I am a true autumn, I was a bit disappointed as I live in black but start buying some of the clothes in that colour palette. Then yesterday I had a in person consultation although I was wearing BB cream on my face and there was no natural light (a company was doing free in store consultation in a famous shop brand to promote both the consultations and the new collection I guess), and they told me I was winter 😩🤣in a way I was happy as I was hoping for that colour palette in another way now what? What’s the truth? 😖🤯
Hi! SO CONFUSED!!🤔 I heard and followed the “VEIN” theory, felt wrong 😑 I am a bleach blonde , kinda pale skin, (Norwegian ancestry), but true hair color was dishwater blonde, and HATED IT! I’m older now (60’s) and have a kinda nice pale silver starting. Went natural during the pandemic. Just now died it blonde again and felt better IMMEDIATELY. QUESTION: WHAT COLOR (!!!) AM I TO REFER TO WHEN I TRY TO ANALYZE MY COLORS USING THIS SYSTEM?? 😊. I thought I looked great in black, cuz of blonde hair.
This video has helped me so much🫀❤️ I'm in a place where I've been struggling to find a purpose in life and I'm not really passionate about anything and this made me realize how much I love fashion😊 it's something I can see my self doing all my life and I think this may be for me!
Green, purple, light blue are forever my favorite colors. But this year I also experienced sudden draw to orange, more like bright apricot. Never used to like that color. And now I am sooo into it! Actually I used to think I am soft summer until one day my eyes opened and I realized I'm a spring. 😂 Spring has always been my favorite season. Even in nature.
I disagree. They may use a different system, but it’s misaligned and not possible with what I teach. Blondes are low contrast - winter is high - that’s doesn’t create harmony already. That blonde colour isn’t even in the winter palette….
I was fascinated lately with colour analysis and i pulled the trigger and did one for me, i was typed as an True Autumn 🍂🍁 ,i loved creating my capsule wardrobe for all seasons and i feel i have a lot of colours to explore ! Now i'm spotting clothes in my right palette immediately 😂
Thank you for saying that blonde hair and blue eyes can be warm. I have always been told that I was automatically cool because I am blonde but cool colors make me look washed out.
Wow, I’m only just finding your videos now! The module thing is a game changer. Now I finally know where to start building a wardrobe I love. I picked a colour palette and I know I’m still missing a lot of things, but this will definitely help me find the missing links. Thank you for sharing! ❤
the amount of clothes i have thrown out because of weight changes et cetera that I wish I had not have ! I am now storing and shopping from the storage.
Very good. I have the "Roman" shape of foot; we can easily develop bunions, wish I had known years ago! I can't wear pointed toe shoes of any type. Pressure on where the bunion is makes it grow, unfortunately!
Love this! I experience this all the time. Whenever I’m feeling low on energy I crave red, if I’m lonely or feel misunderstood I crave turqoise & blue, if out of control and lost I crave yellow, etc. This is profound and I think people underestimate it because it’s unconscious. We can’t really ”study” it objectively, but it’s very intuitive.
I noticed the opposite with the hair thing. I tried warm yellow against a cool clear blue. My face went white and hair ashy with yellow, but my face gained colour my hair went to rich brown with the blue. This is by taking photos so I allow for it being the camera phone.
