We are a married couple with a toddler who loves all things Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Disney, and super hero. Enjoy our adventures in cosplay, at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, on family adventures, and everyday life!! We also love doing candy/snack box reviews from countries all around the world!
There's lots of things you can do with Vegemite, for starters take toast, with no butter. Apply a teaspoon of Vegemite, then mashed avocado. You can also put some Vegemite into boiling water when preparing soup, or for making a tasty sauce for meats. Vegemite can be quite versatile. I just find it's hard to get Vegemite here in New York state, but it's certainly worth getting it shipped from Australia. Cheers.
These events take in massive amounts of money in ticket prices. I truly believe peformers should all get a percentage of the gate. If there were no peformers the people attending numbers would drop dramatically. Tips are nice, but a base rate should apply. Im not a performer.
I'm going to be attending my first ever ren faire this year, and I'm very excited!! Obviously with me being a cosplayer I am planning to do a costume, a certain smoldering thief if you catch my drift since the joy of NO WIG!! I'm doing my homework on the basic musts, like what to 100% bring and such!!
Living in GA, I totally get the summer heat aspect. RenFest is a lot of fun, but it can get pretty expensive. Thankfully, the second of the two shops that I visited this past year accepted a card because my mum severely underestimated the amount of money I would need for purchases.
These American tries Marmite videos are a recipe for disaster due to the US sugary food empire. Sugar and Saccharin in everything, means a skewed salt, sour, savoury sense. You guys are the exception.
Yes! We did renaissance style Dr Strange and Scarlet Witch cosplays. Actually, we pulled them together last minute so all the pieces were items from our closet!
Also I have transpernt divider and theg are doing fine and especially happy, no flaring at each others.. Dumbos they are one with dumbo butterfly and other is round tail dumbo❤
Thrills Gum was made in the 50s , at a time when the gum companies were trying to create a gum flavor that tastes the way flowers smell.( Thrills was meant to be lavender). When people started saying it tasted like soap, they just leaned into it , and made it their tag line'
If it is super strong use a thinner layer when you spread it on the sandwich. I usually do not eat the dill version. The regular version I can eat with avocado or chives on the sandwich. Don't worry about expiration (to other commenters). Lasts years and years after being opened.
This is making me so angry😳 first of all. You do not have a craker without butter..second. the only one having this with hardboiled eggs is that freak beeing superscared of softboiled eggs😴😴😴
I'm amused by the RU-vid algorithm being weird as despite never watching anything relating closely to renfairs, it still recommended this. The best part is my dad is actually the person who is playing Sir Angus for the joust, I am not making that up, he actually is.
Elderflower is a very common flavour in many parts of Europe as the Elderberry Tree grows very well in the European climate. In the UK we have elderflower cordial, which is delicious.
You can make a really smashing good warm sandwich/toast by first buttering some loafs of white bread, then smear Kalles Kaviar and then sprinkle dill and some finely chopped leek. Toast in the oven for say 5 minutes on middle heat, they should be a little crispy around the edges. Great with a cold beer (lager).
They used to use much more sugar, so you wouldn’t need a whole bar. Now a days I can eat a whole big bar of chocolate to myself because they removed the sugar years ago. Yet they didn’t realise people would feel like they’d need to double up to get the same old taste. That and a lot of old British chocolate companies now are owned by American ones, so many recipes have changed. Things like Mini eggs, cream eggs, double deckers, original lion bars etc don’t taste the same as they did when I grew up. 😢 The Green and Blacks Ginger, butterscotch, almond or Hazelnut and currant (our currants are like raisins) are my favourite. I love that you can get so many different ones and for me, they are so rich I can’t get through a whole mini bar. So, I guess it depends on what you have.
Marmite with toast and bacon together in a toasted sandwich, no butter. With a cup of tea with milk. Its an unbelievable taste, the tea drink creates a soothing feel.after the marmite taste. Peanut butter with marmite is not a thing we do in uk.. We put bacon with marmite and toast in a sandwich, large slices of toast.
One thing I was told was to call my credit card in advance to inform them I would be using it at a festival w/vendors from all over. Apparently many vendors travel and follow the Ren circuit. If a card bank sees multiple charges from various parts of the country they can cancel the card thinking it has been stolen. They said last year this happened to quite a few people. It was also encouraged to use cash over card, but to make sure your form of payment is secure so it doesn't fall out of your costume!
I like vegemite better, the pastyness and taste is better to me. My favorite way is keto bread, x2 slices not toasted, Lots of softened butter, a good 1/4 dollop of Vegemite(about x3 the amount you use), a slice of yellow american cheese, some kind of sauce every now and then (hot sauce like a Chalupa/jalapeno/Franks) is a great change in flavor. Enjoyed your video, take care. I want to try it in water now, that would make a great addition to a Japanese meal.
