Yay!!!! Noble Knights!!!!! Now it all makes since of why y’all were on a mission. This is so cool!!!! I almost signed up to be a squire for them this summer. I love horses and watching their shows. Thanks for another update at Faire!!!!

Haha! Yes, we had a certain timeframe we had to hit in order to film all of this. Now you have a better idea what to expect if you sign up to be a squire for next season!

We’ve been going to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire for more than 8 Years, this Video gives a good aspect on how much happens behind the Scenes at the Faire. Great Job. We’re planning to go in October 2021, I hope to see you both there.

@Noble Cause is very neat. The insights of how much work, commitment and intricacies of the joust is incredible. Plus the humor and story was so fun. I've never been blessed to attend a Faire but have always wanted to do so. I've loved horses and medieval things since I was a little girl. Thank you for sharing with us.💜🥰

Some years back I had a tent on Avalon Hill called Wizard Duels where we crafted and sold wands. Problem with vending is you don't get out to see the shows. I really enjoyed this video. Keep doing what you do. Makes me want to get back and visit the Shire....

Thank you!! Vending and being on cast makes it difficult to enjoy the Faire in the same manner as the patrons, that is for sure! Your booth sounds familiar to us! You definitely should come back and enjoy the Faire like the rest of us!!

@@FromtheHobbitHole We were there for 3 years. I believed we started in 2011 and our last gig there was 2014. In three months we would sell between 800 to 1000 wands. I also sold my book "Wizard Duels" Blood of the Dragon there that is available on Amazon. The book was written for a background to our tent telling the story of the Characters we played while at the fair. Really enjoyed doing it but just could not come to a new agreement with the Faire for us to sell some other items to help us make it worth our while. Still loved doing it and even miss it a bit. Have a great nephew that is performing there for the last couple years as a blackfryer I believe they call them. He got interested in the Faire back when we were vending...Who knows maybe we will make it there this year. You guys are doing a great job...Keep it up....:)

That’s a LOT of wands!! …and a book too! So very cool!! Do you sell the wands anywhere else? A lot of changes have happened within the inner workings of the Faire, maybe you guys could come back and sell everything you wanted to sell? 🤔 So who is your nephew? We’ve become friends with a lot of the reoccurring cast over the past few seasons so we might know him.

No we don't sell the wands anywhere. Was just a fair thing. That was the best place to sell that kind of stuff because people are there for entertainment and we gave it to them...:)

I Miss the Actual Jousting that Renaissance fairs used to do a long time ago. it was just 2 people wearing a lot of armor on Draft Horses and their goal was to either hit some armor off or knock the person off the horse...while these shows are not bad I still miss the original ones and want them back or at least know WHY those were stopped.

Most Faires have moved away from that style of show because, sadly, the majority of guests found it not as exciting as the more theatrical style. There is a jousting group that is simply called The Jousters and they still do the more accurate/realistic jousting that you talk about. We’ve seen pictures/video of them at The New York Renaissance Faire. We’d love to see a mix of both at Renaissance Faires! That way everyone gets a cool history lesson in how jousting actually played out and then you’d still get the big theatrical show.
