LOL "Automated Teller Card" im dying. Man if I could show him me using my phone to buy food. Most Americans in 1994 could barely afford one computer,. these fatsos have 2? so whats that $8,000 in computers? Definitely got money like a mofo.
Except this car is less than 3 years old and Kia keeps saying there's no problem with the battery. It just died again yesterday so we're having it towed to the dealership.
My 12V battery drain issues seem to have been related to the off-peak charging credit program with my electric company. Their third-party software (Rolling Energy Resources) was apparently constantly pinging the car for status which would drain the 12V. My utility company said this is an issue Kia knows about (PS748 Sharing Kia Connect w-3rd Party Apps and Impact to 12V Batteries in EVs). Once I "disconnected" my EV6 from the off-peak program, I haven't had the issue again (yet).
@JeremyRadwan perfect .. I noticed the charging indicator always on and thought some software issue. But this is damn helpful and wish the technician could have identified it .. thanks a ton
They offer an upgrade/update to address that...I had it successfully done on my 22 wind awd that threw that warning. I traded that one on a 23 GT model a few weeks ago.
@@davidwolff1400 Do you have the technical service bulletin number for that? I haven't heard of an update for issues with the 12V (except for PS748 which is just the info about disabling 3rd-party Kia Connection connections), just the various ICCU issues.
To my knowledge the ICCU has nothing to do with the 12v battery? Isn't the 12v battery charged from the high volt package using a specific charge module?
@@briannielsbergh The ICCU has to functions: managing the AC charging and managing the 12 volt battery charging. But it possible that only one of these functions gets an defect.
Okay, so I’m pondering the philosophy behind having young girls performing like this using military knock-offs. Why isn’t it done by young boys as preparation for military service? Why young girls??
According to the paperwork (remember, this was back in 2022 way before the current recall), the part was 82670-42020 BLOCK ASSY, JUNCT. I haven't had the current DC converter recall work done.
The opener by the Alumni Band in the video above was “Crown Imperial,” which was written in 1937 for the coronation of Britain’s King George VI and later played at the coronations of Elizabeth II and Charles III. The POD opened with “Crown Imperial” in the ‘78 and ‘79 seasons, my first two seasons. It may well have been the halftime show opener before 1978.
"That new thing that's upending our industry? Yeah let's just try to convince people it sucks instead of adapting it to our business" - companies you've never heard from again
They have a few locations in the Dayton area and all of them seem to be well reviewed on Google. Might not be raking in the dough (hah) like some national chains, but I wouldn't consider it a failure either.
just because you've never heard of them doesn't mean they weren't successful. Marion's is a chain with several locations and we have eaten there many times. Each time we go it is always packed
I haven’t had issues with the DC-to-DC converter with my 2021 Rav4 Prime (26K miles so far) but apparently Toyota will be replacing it under warranty according to the recall notice that I received from my dealer today.
Yeah, I think the latest recall (www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?nhtsaId=23V478000) is slightly different than what I experienced here back in December, but looks like I'll be taking my Prime in for more work on that DC-to-DC converter. :(
I had the recall done yesterday here in Texas. Apparently certain states had to wait to get the green light from Toyota to complete the recall. I called in early April and the part wasn’t available to complete the recall. I called in late April and finally Toyota let the dealership order the parts required to complete the recall under warranty. Thanks from Texas for being almost one year late to complete this recall under warranty, Toyota! 👎
