I agree about the music industry , it is very dark, and it is devil work in my opinion . I’ve always said that I love the music , but I hate the music biz, and sometime it is a blessing that someone talented not choose that road, and these days there are other independent roads to take , it’s not much money, but yet it’s not someone taking your royalties and even your name because of a contract. And then they are telling what and what not to sing, how to look, and to even do things you would never do.
When the drummer is more talented than most bands’ front person. Pau wrote this at age 13 about someone experiencing the effects of alcoholism, which was obviously based on her innate empathy and imagination and not personal experience. 😎👍
How do they write songs like this about someone struggling with addiction when they were so young and had no personal experience with it? I think it's about empathy-their ability to put themselves in the mindset of someone in that situation and express a perspective they’ve never lived through.
This song is about addiction, and I've heard it was based on witnessing the struggles of someone they know/knew. When I first heard it I also felt it was about love (which was based on my own experiences). As far as a "best" album from The Warning - they are all great, enjoy.
Thanks George. Like you, I remember the Susan Boyle audition from over 10 years ago. Lucy is Lucy. Perfect in every way without resorting to anything but doing justice to the song.
Empire are all about the feels. A chica called Lion put me onto your channel because i don know many reactors that even do electro. I'm in now and like the diversity. Good reaction
Let’s get one thing straight Camila ALWAYS Sings LIVE!!! She also always sounds better live and sounds exactly like the studio version. They don’t touch her voice much in engineering. She’s such an amazing singer, songwriter, and artist! This was a beautiful performance! 👌🏽
Great reaction. One is tempted to say he learned those microphone movements pushing around a mop bucket. But the Rocky montage I remember is a lot of running/jogging broken up by splicing in boxing stuff. He may be mimicing that splicing, visual technique culminating in Rocky raising hands over head.
The guy with the white pants was from Little River Band and performed with John for i think many years after LRB Brock up. He can from New Mexico to LRB.
Too many songs to pick, but, if you want to see his versatility, check out Love Like This, Blue, and his cover of Elvis' Can't Help Falling In Love. You won't be disappointed. I'm a senior citizen in my 70's and Zayn ha made that Evis song his own. I am very impressed with his vocals.
Sounds great now......John has had a few songs which are about the future for our sons and daughters....he should have written so much more lol.... Another great reaction George 😘
Hi George...Thank you for supporting Lucy. She is one of the best vocalist in the world right now. Lucy's talented and expressive performance brought me to tears. Lucy is something special. What a precious gem we have in Lucy!! Such a blessing.
Michael Paynter is another Aussie artists who deserves more recognition not only overseas but here in his own country....His voice is so crystal clear...and his breath control is amazing too. George I'm loving your channel I hope it's ok to drop this link to Michael's page where his sings his own song "Are You Alive" I can't wait to see your reaction to it. Love from Australia ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4f13ogGpbDA.html
Hey George, great show as always. Lucy is very pretty, isn't she? I am a big fan of Lucy and her sister Martha, who can also sing but never does for some reason. Unlike you, I don't remember this song but I do remember Susan Boyle from Britain's Got Talent. I think she won. Anyway, see you later.
Hey Ellis! Lucy is stunning indeed. I wonder if there's some video of Martha singing. Susan Boyle actually didn't win the show, I think she got second place, a dance group won that year. I reacted to 'That Smell' on Patreon, hope you check it out!
You are right, John is a likeable guy. He is available to everyone, never acts like the megastar he is. This song was the last for the concert and he still had the energy to run around the stage and belt out the song to perfection. His concerts were NEVER boring. Love the guy 💕 😍
Any concert of John’s and his band we were all happy and jolly. His concerts were never boring which left you staring at the ceiling lol. He held us all captivated. Yes he’d talk to anyone in the street. Other vids of his shows in smaller country towns, he’d shop, chat and sign autographs as if he knew you.
