Greetings from Scotland! "Ermine" is just what it says - the animal called an Ermine, or a Stoat in it's winter white coat. The Russian word is "Горностай" pronounced as Garnasti. This shows Diana's intelligence and resilience to the haters and dissenters! Basically a kind of "Am I bothered?" reply specifically to them, with a hint of sarcastic humour - typical behaviour of a very smart young lady like Diana! The final scene where they are sitting in the Tea Garden and the guy comes along moaning about her constant phone calls saying "Op, Op, Op..." is the guy who posted a super critical video of her singing ability etc. (Ramin). It would appear Diana has even converted him to a better state of mind and a better person! Clever Diana!

In this brilliant video, Diana rises above the hatred she receives in Russia, and tells those who perpetrate it (and there are a lot of them) to go to hell. Everything in it is very carefully calculated, directed and choreographed. It is framed as a confrontation between Diana and her haters, as per the Western super-hero/Eastern martial arts good v evil genre. Diana plays two roles really. The first, ironic one, is the trash broad, all to typical of the scene Diana refuses to be a part of, who swans about until she is confronted in the alley. The second one, in earnest, is her real self/super-ego as developed as the character "Ermine" (who appears at the end of the video) that Diana created so magnificently on the 2023 TV show "The Mask." But to understand the details and nuances of the video one needs to know about Diana, her back catalogue, and the machinations of her haters in Russia. One could write a book about this video, but the starting point is the fact that the ermine is an animal, the stoat, that changes its fur in winter from brown to white. This much is observed during the tea ceremony by which Diana's vanquishing of her haters is celebrated, where it is also said there that the ermine can be likened to a sage. Diana loves animals very much and anthropomorphises them. She identifies strongly with the character Ermine, which in the video appears at the end in full masked regalia. The Russian word for "ermine," pronounced "gornostay," sounds very similar to "Gangnam style." Hence the pun on the line from the well-known K-pop song. This pun first appeared in episode 4 of the Mask, where when performing Gagarina's song "Pace Forward," in which the line "op op op Gangnam style" is appropriated, Ermine substitutes "gornostay" for "Gangnam style." One of Diana's most prominent haters, Ramin was especially caustic about Diana's performance of that line, a fact symbolised ironically by the image in which Diana's face appears trapped in a bowl of ramen noodles. At first glance, then, being built around that line, this song/video is in direct response to Ramin. But not so fast! The character Ramin within it is actually performed by Ramin himself! That is, when at the end Diana invites Ramin to join the tea-ceremony of the enlightened, she isn't engaging in wishful thinking. Completely out of the blue and to everyone's surprise, she is displaying the fact that she has actually won him over in reality!
