Matthew Runaway is a rising country singer/songwriter from Perth, Ontario. Raised on a diligent cattle and crops farm, Matthew's songwriting style speaks his established work ethic, recreating the stories he's lived and the memories he's made.
In his early 20's, Matthew's ambition decisively drove him across those county lines and across North America with his previous EDM rock band, Aspire. With much success, Matthew simultaneously pushed forth with his writing career. Before long, he knew that it was time to start building his dream. With that, he instinctively closed this chapter of his life and began writing the next in pursuit of becoming a country singer/songwriter.

They are an incredibly talented group of musicians. I can't get enough of them. They gave been cleaning up at little awards shows too. I have a feeling next year, we'll start seeing them at the more mainstream awards shows. If not, it would be a shame.
gotta listen to the doomsday pt 1 with juice wrld and cordae both of their favorite artists was eminem and they remixed "role model" which was an eminem song long time ago
hey you said you liked live music with bands and stuff you could check out jid he's a rapper and was live on something called i think "tiny table" but he has a band behind him he's pretty decent
Maybe its just the little Texan girl in me, but theres a certain itch in my brain only country music can scratch. Im saying this because while it may not be a big part of the video, that song in the beginning scratched my brain and was good 😅
Musically, it's the perfect song to play when you're headed for a night out on the town, but lyrically, it'll make you turn around and head back home with your head down.
When Em walks towards the stage at the end and what is being said is “this is what the shooter looks like”. Like it could be any one of us who just snaps and goes crazy.
Joyner started out making meaningful music kinda like this and it’s really when he’s his best version “happy birthday, winter blues, forever” and so on where all so good and after the song with Eminem he tried to adjust to stay in the mainstream but his meaningful music is always the best he puts out
I'm a fan of country have been since like 6 years old and this is real pure country I see a big future, you've got the sound the tone good lyrics, I hope you have a ton of success I'll be riding along listening.
Yes sometimes I get a time of day feeling with songs, but this one I don't get a strong sense of what time of day it would be. It kinda seems fitting for any time of day.
This was the first song I ever heard from him, it was at this point I was hooked. Probably one of my favorites by him, don't think I can pick a single favorite tbh.
