Oh boy. This is the only time I'll say it In this particular case I would take the man I don't want anything to do with the bear that's eating a corpse Oh the smell alone
Great video. The only thing I found odd was the preference for uncompressed vs lossless compressed RAW. Lossless is what it says, just like a zip file. I can't see any advantage in avoiding lossless compression. It will allow you to fit a lot more images on your SD card (or whatever storage device you use). 🤔
@@Nateinthewild because lossless compression shouldn't affect quality at all. If you put a Word document in a zip file, email it to someone and they take it out of the zip file, it will be exactly the same. Lossless RAW should be exactly what it says, because it uses compression techniques that don't lose data, such as run length encoding. The only way I can think of that there could be a difference is if the camera changes the bit depth between the two. Uncompressed raw would be faster to write when taking continuous frames at high shutter speeds, but that isn't the case here. Anyway, of course it's up to you. I'm not criticising. I'm just saying that there shouldn't be any difference in quality between uncompressed raw and lossless compressed raw.
For the people that don't understand what's happening here, there's definitely something happening here, even though I don't understand what it is, what is definitely something. I hope this helps.

Well those other videos are wrong. Adobe and Topaz themselves both recommend denoising the raw image before you edit. I would recommend following the advice of the people who wrote the program.
I remember the first week of lockdown in Seattle, I was working at Safeway in University District but I had to take the light rail from Downtown to get to work. It was so surreal having every other seat on the light rail blocked off by yellow tape and signs and every one spread so far apart with limited passengers as the air units were blasting to get fresh air in each cabin. Then I got to The Ave and every shop and business was boarded up, locked, empty and there were absolutely no cars in sight! I go to work in the deli and we had to designate standing areas in the back to assist customers one at a time, any time we needed to go near another co-worker to grab or prep something, we had to call out "Clear around me, please" so no one would stand near us while we were prepping stuff. Thanksgiving was the BIGGEST disaster, because we all had to move every single prep table and assemble each part of the family meals on opposite sides of the kitchen, away from each other and bag them and put them in the refrigerator. I have never had to do that in any work environment I have ever worked at!
Man there's a decent chance you saw me making this video haha, I lived on University Ave and 55th, a single block from that Safeway. The basketball court you see in this video is the one directly across the street.
