I have a little suggestion for you Celastrina. When we are reborn, there's a period when we carry the memories from our past life. If you gently talk around the subject with your child as they slowly become able to understand you, you have an opportunity to bring that memory forward and gain some insight into who they were and are. Hello Celestrina, Very interesting about the 180? day limit for many visiting Schengen areas and the Intentional Communities locations. There might be a migration repeating between some of the several communities. I can only imagine so far. - For instance, Tamera might have ideal weather for some projects that would be less than the statutory 180 days long.... and, other intentional relationships might develop during the 'off season' at other non-schengen sites and communities. Why not? To discover more - I would love to read blogs concerning Auroville residents who might intend to 'go slow' with the earlier expected plans for population growth and Auroville expansion to 50 thousand, etc. Or, to find out how growth is valued amongst the long term participants and stakeholders, etc. of the intentional community in Pondicherry. If some coherent IC cohorts do have a repeating series of projects at other intentional project places - it would be wonderful to hear how the continuity is being established. For instance, I'd be interested in: Starting with the larger regional reforestation efforts - the projects which intentional communities value enough to participate, there's such a large expected global objective around which to collaborate - and potential innovation is on going with some passion. Is there a network of intentional communities who collaborate with the Ecosystem Restoration Cooperative camps? The John D Liu film entitled 'Green Gold' has inspired so many 1000's to participate. Concerning the hard work that was mentioned, my understanding is that a permaculture food forest is hard work in the first few years but, if well designed, practically work free afterwards.
I am to happy to find you in RU-vid and the process of spiritual awakening is not easy. I really want to start my new life in eco village. While I am living in Hong Kong, my mind have been swinging as you said, am I going to spend my days alone cabin or being hopeless in the environment that not supporting intentional life. What your sharing and experience have shown that it is possible and we need more communities care the earth and human, making money to support each other as well. I think that -- I think that all communities are retirement communities: People join community because they want to go deep, and in going deep time passes, and as time passes people become old, and when people become old they retire, so the people that they went deep with, are now all retired together. For a community to go beyond its source generation, it needs to focus on being something more than a community: It needs to focus on being a lineage. And being a lineage means looking beyond the people you know and your relationships; it means intimately relating with people who are NOT your community.
