In this video I take you with me to one of our yearly autumn harvest traditions in the community, which is to harvest the chestnuts and have a chestnut celebration. Hello beautiful soul. Thank you for the wonderful content. I just wanted to ask you, how did you get to be accepted into the community? I mean, what is the process of moving from anywhere in the world into an eco village? What must you contribute or provide in order to live within such a community? This is the only thing that is not clear from your videos.

Thank you for your comment 😊 To become a part of the community it's advised to try out a community life experience (this is what I did), where you live in Damanhur for a while and really see if this is the place that resonates with you. Then, when I decided to stay I asked for citizenship and moved to one of the community homes here. For people who want to live here it is required that every member contributes to the whole and to the family in which they live, this means sharing the costs of life with the others in the family and contributing to shared projects such as the damanhurian school etc. We also contribute to the growth of the community through hours of devotional work in various areas and in various projects :) Perhaps I should make a video about these topics if they're of interest.
