These workouts started me in fitness when I was 19 and I kept at it, even became an "aerobics instructor" myself for a bit in my early 20's. Used to do this at like 5am before class. Insane. This kind of exercise would count as HIIT now, or zone 3 cardio. All that stretching though, not so great for the body, especially the bouncing. And no one jumps in place like that anymore. Interesting how exercise science has become so much more developed in the last decade!
So many black people, wow! (KLG voice) This was my experience on the Celebrity Solstice in August 2023. Whenever you saw a black person or person of color, you'd see 75 white people before you saw another POC... Most white people don't understand how that is a privilege for them. I'm not here to start stuff, I'm just stating that representation matters. #LoveAndLight🙏🏾🧿
So, that's a problem for you? It's 2024 bro, everybody has an opportunity to go somewhere in life, or, they can just complain and blame their situation on someone or something.
I was introduced to this show by my ex. I used to work nights and she would "wake" me in the morning with a mug of coffee on the nightstand and this show on the tele. Nicole is still my favorite. Her voice, her smile, her innocence. Was talking to a coworker about my 2 exes and this show came up in the convo. I've looked for tapes/dvd's but no luck. Anyone have any tips?
I was about 25yrs old when this episode played. I worked nights and my ex would wake me in the morning at 10:00 am with a mug of coffee on the nightstand and this show on tv. She really was good to me in those days. She left me after 9yrs together. Many yrs later I went back to school and signed up for an aerobics class at the local jr college. I actually met a girl in class just as lovely as these girls, but ended up marrying another beauty instead. That only lasted 9yrs also. Been single now for many yrs but remembered about this show. Thanks Utube and thank you for this upload. Looked for a long time for this episode. Life is good.
Carnival seemed to target upper middle class White people in the 80s and 90s. Sometime in the 2000s, especially later 2000s to present day it attracted a lower socio-economic group from all races/ethnicities that gave it the "Wal-Mart" reputation.
but I think it was always the most prominent 'mass market' line, but similar to flying, cruising was just a lot more expensive (in relative terms) 30+ years ago. So from what I see flying, amusement parks and similar have made the same transition as Carnival, where these things that used to be super expensive are a bit less so now, thus they attract a different crowd to some extent. But we've met nice people, even well-to-do doctors and similar on Carnival cruises.
There are plenty of men's jackets/tuxedo on this clip, but in reality, you won't find ONE. Also no Black cruisers nor obese in this clip, who probably would account for the majority of the population in a Carnival cruise. (I could go on, but I'll leave it, before it's too late...)
