@PCBuilderChannel I’m trying to find the best monitor that will do a little of everything (work/productivity from laptops and PS5 Gaming for both competitive and story driven) I would love to find the best between 27”~34” OLED. Not sure if wide curve will do the trick or just go for a flat screen. Great video and would love the extra Help !
AMD closely relates to the opinion about 1440p and 4K. If NVIDIA continues to place the price onto the consumer, I think 1440p and 1080p will continue to be here for a while
HEY JASON I WAS LOOKING AT MONITORS I WAS WONDERING WHAT YOU THOUGHT ABOUT THIS MONITOR - Acer 27" WQHD 240Hz 0.5ms AMD FreeSync Premium IPS Gaming Monitor (XV272U) FOR 249.99
So reviews aren't the best for that Monitor though I haven't looked into why. I would check out the new Gigabyte GS27Q X instead as it's currently only $20 more and reviews so far are good.
I'm on a razor fine budget so I settled for a 5800X. I game at 1080p, so I'm wondering if the RX 7800 XT will compliment it well enough, or will it be an overshot?
You cannot tell the difference between 1440p and 4k. This was demonstrated by Linus Tech tips years ago. Instead of spending thousands on a new card and monitor, pay off some debt.
4K is for adults, 1080p and 1440p is for kids. This is not a joke, a 4k competitive system will set you back around £3k minimum. Parents aren't going to spend that on a kid.
The video has a lot of very valuable data which required tons of research. But you seem to be too AMD sided with how much importance you give to the vram number without talking about caches, bus speed, etc. Also disregarding upscaling at 1440p (wtf), and saying raytracing is only for a 4070 Ti Super class card, which is ridiculous.
Serious question: I need a PC for World of Warcraft. I'm getting the Ryzen 7 78003D (for the extra cache). But i don't have all the money in the world, how low i can go with the Graphic card? WoW is an MMORPG and its kinda old. So i know the CPU is more important than the gaming card. Any suggestions?
9:09 haha, i was gonna say earlier i got a Mid Tower that can not use beyond SFX-L... LOL, no ATX. Now I check the PSU list as you suggested and the one I been considering is at the very top of the A Tier! Only thing I have not decided is to get either 850 or 1000 W because I havent fully decided if I should get 1 or 2 GPU for my upcoming build after 20+ years.
Hi, maybe dumb question but would a CoolerMaster hyper 212 2023 edition also be good for this CPU? I am in big doubt what CPU cooler to get but I really like the 212 2023, also at the price of €25
If you have the budget, always future proof your computer. You spend less in the long run if you take care of your system and plan to have your pc for 6 to 8 years. By future proofing, you will not have to purchase parts over time while having an OP system early on and a standard to better than standard towards the end of its life cycle. I see no point in purchasing a standard pc at any time when knowing full well that I will have to purchase those same components again during the life cycle of my current system.
Jason: just finished my new build: Ryzen 7800x3D CPU MSI B650 Tomahawk MB AMD MSI RT7900XTX GPU 32 GB Teamforce 6000 RAM 2 MSI NVME Drives. PS MSI 80+ Gold 850 watt I get fast, beautiful 1440p 144hz gaming and smooth fast VR. I am concerned that the system takes almost 4 minutes to boot. Expo is on in BIOS. Is this normal? How can I fix this if not normal? I appreciate your advice. You do a great service to the community. Especially those like me, this is my first build in 10 years Rick😊
