As a kid from the 80's NO! I would not be playing on the NES. I gamed on the SMS (Sega Master System). It came out 6 to 12 months after the NES but unlike the 16 bit NES it had a pseudo 32 bit processor and better audio processor. So it looked and sounded better than the NES. The downside, it didn't have as extensive a game library but most of the really popular non Nintendo titles were available on the SMS. Afterburner, Shinobi, Double Dragon and so on looked and played so much more like the actual arcade versions that well, all my friends were coming over to my house to play video games not me going to theirs.
Katy Perry changed her name to avoid confusion with actress Kate Hudson and so she switched her name to Katy and just added her mom’s maiden name Perry to create her stage name (look it up)
PLEASE more of best 70's songs reactions. A few band suggestions: Styx, Bad Company, Blue Oyster Cult, Ted Nugent, Peter Frampton, The Cars and Carole King. THANKS!
Around 32:18 Plaquey is talking about discovering how good Pizza Hut breadsticks are dipped in nacho cheese. I grew up and currently reside back in Indiana but something I learned when i moved out to Washington state is that dipping cheese is not a standard bread stick dipping sauce. The first time we had pizza in Washington I refused to eat breadsticks and was actively disappointed we had decided to order pizza because they didn't have cheese or any idea what we were talking about. Any pizza restaurant I had ever eaten at fast food, so Pizza Hut dominos ect, or even non chains you ordered breadstick you could get marinara or cheese sauce, which is just nacho cheese. Being back in Indiana I had forgotten that's not the norm anywhere else. So when I lived in Washington state when we would order pizza I would walk 4 blocks to the Taco Bell and just get nacho cheese for my bread sticks. I am just here to say everyone everywhere needs to dip breadsticks in cheese sauce.
I was born in 1965 so of course I know all these songs/artist. But as a kid I could tell you almost every hit song/artist from the 50's & 60's. I grew up in a household where there was always music being played. My Mom and Dad loved music they were always buying records for me. We had a top of the line stereo system and I was allowed to play whatever I wanted as loud as I wanted as long as I handled the records with care. Thanks Mom and Dad! On a sad note I lost my Father 8 years ago today. I still have all those records and that same stereo system because I treasured them and took care of them.
