Hi and welcome to my channel. I love visiting historical and abandoned places. Join me for explores around Wales, including urbex, history and our beautiful countryside. I do my best to post a new video at least once a month. I also love the sound and nostalgia of old theatre organs, although I have no technical knowledge. Hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: Exploring old buildings is dangerous and done entirely at your own risk. We do not break in to any of these places and we never take anything except photos.
Thanks so much for this. I've put it on my must see list. Very sorry to see the damp, the ivy on the walls and tower and the damp affecting the memorials. The Bishop Rudd memorial is superb. There's obviously some expensive repair work required. Sadly the diocese are about to close some churches. I wouldn't be surprised if this one is on borrowed time.😢
Wow.. this place is destroyed.. I do however love when the vines and vegetation starts growing in through the windows. Always thought that looked cool. I would have to say that older building at the end was my favorite part. The windows were beautiful. Great explore, Thank you for taking us along
Thanks for checking in. My favourite bit was the older part which was a bit dodgy as right opposite houses, I also liked the view down the corridor which was overgrown. It's been like this for years, slowly getting worse.
I've been to Green Castle Woods but not this one. It looks worth the trip. Lovely images, pity I couldn't smell the bluebells 😊. Very relaxing. Thanks for sharing.
"God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands" (Acts 17:24 KJV).
What a gorgeous church. Amazing that you are apart of this. I adore anything Wales! and the architecture of churches . I can just imagine the history here. Fantastic job , thank you so much for the tour . :)
Thanks for watching. As for ghosts I heard a story that someone once saw two children in Victorian clothes by the church and that people have heard mysterious singing but I've not experienced anything.
Absolutely lovely and the possibilities are endless, I hope its future is secured for a great many years to come given the historical value, thanks for the explore Mel & Co 🙂
Sorry, perhaps I should have shown more. People who are know much more about organs than me have given some information about it in the comments. Apparently it is a tracker organ contolled by the strings inside.
