Do you offer someone to pay for a small phone call conference to help with powder coating questions? I feel like i saw in a video once you said you would do that, thank you
I really enjoy your content man and when I was watching a video from a year or so ago and you did not have a wireless microphone on and I can barely hear you I thought oh man I’m sure he got one so I jumped to the newest video still no wireless Mike look into them. They’re like 20 bucks dude it’d be so much better. I love the content. Just trying to help. And I was listening to you from my television in my home with a surroundsound system. I had to turn it up..
Thanks for the info. I have a new one that I will modify. The existing parts suck. What grit and type media were you using and what size tip? Compressor size? Thanks again
I'm having a shop re-do my wheels right now because of way too much orange peel on the wheels they did for me. I am however somewhat worried about the wheels loosing some of their structural durability goes as far as metal hardness and what not. Is it okay to sandblast and heat up alimunim alloy wheels twice? The wheel manufacturer Enkei will actually downright void your warranty on wheels you buy from them if you even powdercoat them once. Should I worried? I drive a Lexus GX 460 and the wheels I bought for it are 17" AGP Wheels. I plan on keeping this vehicle and these wheels on it for a long time.
sometimes when I spray clear vision it doesn't lay the same as the clear and ends up going on in splotches (usually it all melts away but sometimes you can see it in the finish, what causes this?
Been loving my RC2. Went from a Hypersmooth 03 and this thing just lays down like glass. I have better control of my powder flow and I don't have to tap the hopper constantly to maintain powder flow to the gun allowing me to lay down more even, smoother coats.
Glad I seen this before cutting a couple holes towards the top off center like cycle fab recommend! I’m sure his mod helps but this seems like it may be the better mod. Quick question. Could I use an old big air compressor that has rust and a a lot of moisture inside or would your recommend I get a small brand new 4 gal air compressor instead? I’ve already got moisture and oil filter on the gun. TIA!
You shouldn’t need this kit with the Hypersmooth 03 since it already has dual regulators I believe. This would be more suitable for the Hypersmooth 02 with a single regulator. You can definitely use the fluidizing hoppers with that system though. Feel free to email me if you have any other questions royalpowdercoats@gmail.com www.royalcoatspowdercoating.com/product-page/fluidizing-hopper
I’m trying to get into powder coating. Building an oven. 15 months in. Not much help from other people. Started 15 months ago was tired of powder coating coming up on my phone. Decided to watch. Got hooked right then. How simple it could be. With a regular oven. But I wanted something that would hold a differential at least. 2 am. By 9: am I was going at it. Small town not many options for materials. No plan,no knowledge no idea what i was really doing. I am making it with electricity and propane. Because electricity costs are crazy expensive. In a town that gets 115~122 degrees in the summer.May never even use electricity. Think it was a waste $ but couldn’t get any advice from many people. 200 videos like yours. Helped me design what I thought that I wanted.thanks for your time. I want to be fair to people also. 8x7x6 ft.

Bro, you are awesome. I am planning to Powder coat my motorcycle rims but I am here in California, by you just making this video I would take my rims to you if you were in California. I will follow you because you are an honest person. I am sure you will get a lot of customers because media spreads like wild fire.
Can u give me some insight as to why I'm continually getting orange peel on my parts but the wheel hangers, "which are eye bolts" look amazingly perfect.?
Coming from a painter! It seems the eastwood has finer atomization! Not sure if its the tip, speed or what but generally this leads to a better finish! Also on the same note the rc is definitely a beast to get jobes done! Which i prefer personally, the rc
The oem hopper does fluidize heavily helping a lot with faraday area penetration and multi coat applications. The other hoppers and cups I offer do spray thinner for customer that prefer a lighter powder cloud. The ultimate option is the fluidizing kit giving you full control over your powder cloud though
