28:46 Last time I went to NYC was May 2011, my cousin was living and working there. But he was originally from Denver, CO and moved back to Denver 3 years later because he missed his family. I was going to visit him again in 2014 in NYC, but I had to cancel that trip because he was moving back to Denver. My great uncle was a famous sculptor and there is actually a flagpole in Union Square which we always visit in NYC called Independence Flagstaff that he sculpted in the late 1920s.
20:39 I had that happen myself when visiting Las Vegas, same thing happened, I ran into Mickey and Minnie Mouse on the Las Vegas strip. And I was actually driving to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA on the same road trip after visiting Las Vegas. Can't believe it has been exactly 5 years for me this month since I took that road trip.
Love the Videos Shawn and Charlotte, I went to New York in 2022 and it was my first time, it was an amazing experience and the sightseeing is just out of this world, I went to this place called the Edge and it’s in a shopping centre but the views are absolutely outstanding, I really would recommend it, keep up the good work Shawn and Charlotte 😀😀
You've now been to NY enough I'll tell you like a local. From TSQ hop on the 2 Wakefield to 72ST, about 4 min non stop, get off and walk about 2 min to 2090 Broadway. Here you will find the World Famous Gray's Papaya Hot Dogs. Next trip of course. PLEASE SHAWN! NOT DRY, I know you lean to dry dogs but I've noticed of late you've become a bit more adventurous in your diet. They come with ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut, onions, relish. add cheese and chill to at least one, close your eyes and taste the NY original flavor explosion. I'm certain you will grow to long for that dog when away from NY.
New York City is a bit of a rat race, very similar to London. However, i have been to London many many times but have never been to NYC. Interesting video i must admit. You do have to be careful in crowded places like this because of pick-pocketing. Keep an eye on your personal belongings and you should be fine.
Awesome tour!! If you ever come to the Chicago area again let me know. We can grab dinner, but now I have to figure out how to get rid of this craving for chocolate cake suddenly LOL!!

Quite surreal watching this vlog as we were only there a few months ago ourselves! We walked over Manhattan Bridge to Dumbo and then back over Brooklyn Bridge…. Times Square did look quiet, it was absolutely heaving when we were there 😬 Great city & great vlog 👍🏻
Every broadway show and off broadway show either does a rush standing room or lottery you can google that and a website will tell you what each show does . Back to the future does a $45 rush .hells kitchen does a 40 rush and a standing room . Hamilton does a 10 lotto lion king and Aladdin do 35 lottery. I won merrily we roll along for 45 . Go to box office when it opens and ask if they have rush tix . I live in nyc since 84 im from LA. There is a British restaurant in village called tea and Sympathy and they do a sunday roast. Nikki is owner very nice
Love New York, been a few times now and never tire of it, last time was just in December 23, was there for the lightning of Rockefeller tree, absolute madness but so much fun. Going to love watching these vlogs.
It's been 20 years since I went to New York. Haven't managed to get back since. Although we did land at JFK during a nightmare trip back from Orlando last year. Saw the skyline which was great .
