@@simonsays6924 I have an x15 and thinking about deleting,, does it cause premature failure to the engine? Have you done any deletes?

Most of repair procedures are written in the truck repair manuals. Many of them available online or books. This is how I learn new stuff.

It could be by battery box

Dang. I just replaced all batteries yesterday thinking they were causing it. 3 of the batteries were completely dead. I'll look again. Thanks brother.

Clean wire terminals first and check if remote sense wire not broken, check wires to alternator. If that wont help replace alternator

If the oil coming from manifold its valve seals for sure. Did they put new cylinder head? Because it should not be with freshly rebuild engine

@@simonsays6924 not new I took to machine shop to rebuild it and yes it’s coming from the exhaust port I can see it coming out when truck is on

@@narrowexpress9096 that machine shop didnt did it right. But now you should replace those seals.

@@simonsays6924 thanks for replying, I work on my own truck too I’m going to order the tool you used . I wish I could send u the video I took of the exhaust port so u can see for your self what I’m looking at.

@@narrowexpress9096 its nor an easy job , but doible. Yeah check with cummins if they still selling that tool

I drove a month ...one day on freeway my truck derated then shut off......

The truck will drive and don’t go into derate as long as the ambient temperature does not drop near or below freezing.

And when you diagnosed it, did you keep the egnition start key on??

@@yurytelegin1162 it show code on my dash. What code you have? You check with multimeter if no resistance means broken wire like on my truck was. But could be short. So should be resistance. Multimeter will show you. I found manual when googled code.
