There are so many government institutions in Accra (Ga Land) that Gas has been completely sidelined from getting a job there. I can name many of them. The Ga Mantse is right to ask that Ga people be made to manage the port when it's done. Ga people are a minority in Ghana, and if care is not taken to ensure there is equity in Government employment, they will always be sidelined. If Ga people don't speak up for injustice against them, they are the ones that will suffer. I would suggest you study the constitution of Ghana very carefully. It has already made provisions that when the government creates a job in any community in the country, the Indigenous people (locals) must make up the majority of the people who are hired. Do you know how Dr. Ebenezer Nii Armah Tackie got the opportunity to design the Kejetia market? He got the job because of the credibility of other jobs he did in Kumasi. This is completely different from sidelining the Ga people and giving the majority of all government jobs in Accra to non-indigenous people.
