Kudos to Akuffo Addo and his government for finally bringing this monumental project to fruition. Unquestionably, it is the biggest government project in Accra since the inception of the 4th Republic. But for political reasons, we are reluctant to give the NPP government praise. This project has been on the drawing board since 1965. Five different governments have cut sod for the construction of this harbor. However, they fail to bring it to fruition.
