Hello! My name is Erica and I make videos about the start-up of my small candle business called Memory Box Candle Co. I would love for you to be apart of this journey with me :)
I've been thinking of opening a candle business for a long time now and finally decided to move forward with it so I have been binge watching your videos lol Any advice on finding the perfect oil blend for my candles? How did you figure out which scents go well together? This seems very hard to do and I have no idea where to start!
Hi, I love your videos just having a hard time with my business. Try not to give up been testing my wicks and just seem like it’s still not going where I wanted to go even some of my smells are not going where I wanted to go if you give me any suggestionsthat would help out
This is awesome!! Congratulations on the success of this marketing strategy🎉 I would love to do preorders (when I’m ready to sell) but loathe the idea of having to be active on social media to build the hype. I’m such an introvert 😅😩🫠
I 100000% understand this!! I am an introvert as well. Lives used to scare the crap out of me and give me so much anxiety. I’ve gotten better recently about not being so nervous 😅
Love your new marketing strategy! Can’t wait to receive my Haunted candle and yes, will look forward to the next winter preorder; maybe something with woodsmoke and peppermint with a hint of evergreen or cedar! Best of luck! You are on the right path! Congratulations!
How do you measure your wax and fragrance for doing wax molds? Like dessert molds? Say I have a wax mold for 8 cookies.... how do I know how much wax and fragrance I need? Thank you
Tried 464 recently just for kicks bc I had not used any soy wax at all before. After trying it, I have no idea how anyone uses soy wax or 464. I started out with coconut, hemp, palm, olive oil blend, moved on to using IGI 6046, which is mostly paraffin with some coconut wax, and a lastly, A proprietary coco wax that is mostly coco but with touch of paraffin... soy wax in any wax has no appeal to me. I only assume it became popular bc the only choice prior was paraffin.
This is so good! You do what your God given potential is. You will bless so many people along the way. In fact, your videos have been a blessing to me and your followers. I’ve come so far with your guidance. I look forward to seeing what you have in store for the future. You rock, and so does everyone here in this community. Let’s do this 🎉
The secret to anxiety is not to fight off the feelings and the thoughts, but to see them and see through them. That way, even if they pop up, you are ok. Before you can let something go, you gain strength and consciousness by letting it exist. But you see through it.
I'm feeling uncertain about Faire. My first year was good and brought in new orders, but the last year has been quiet, aside from the customers I brought in with me when I signed up. I'm running the promoted listings with the max $400 limit. Since February, I've gotten an average of 325 impressions/mo and 7 clicks from those impressions. Zero new customers were acquired through this. I've been wondering if I should keep doing it. I think I will for the holiday season since the ad spend isn't high, but I'm disappointed since I thought it'd do more for me. The new Insider Partnership also has me feeling iffy. Overall, activity in my Faire shop dropped off after my first year. 🤔
Great info! I have been wondering if ads are worth it. $200 minimum for ads seems so high. Faire is super slow for me so it might be worth it to try for awhile.
From what Im understood in this video is when we tare trying to figure out the fill weight on the new cute vessel we can use water and use the formula to get the new fill weight. OK. So if I fill this new cute vessel with 10.5 oz of water I would then x it by 0.86 to get my new fill weight for wax. (10.5 oz of water x 0.86 = 9.03 oz of wax) correct ? So then ( 9.03 oz / by 110% = 8.2 of of WAX needed, Correct?) (9.03oz - 8.2oz = .83oz of FO needed correct?) Please correct me if Im wrong, thank you :)
Hello, is this the same formula for wax melts when it comes to pricing? If not can you make a video on how to price for wax melts for profit? Thanks in advance
**Alright, I have to correct myself because I did the math in the wrong order:** Breakdown: Amount earned from ad sales: $2,423.50 (minus) Faire commission: $463.53 (minus) Amount spent on ads: $700.28 Total revenue: $1,259.69 Est. Profit when subtracting COGS: $503.88 ...still worth it in my opinion 😅 Also, you can use my refferal link to sign up with Faire: www.faire.com/apply/mbccwholesale
