Excellent except for one problem.. The background music is too loud and almost overpowers the narration . I found it very annoying in volume .

I support the notion that Buddhism and Quantum physics run a parallel but I don't think the video explains well. The last bit where reality doesn't exist until the consciousness observes it is good inferring but needs more evidences. Note that the double slit experiment uses light aka photons but photons are not limited by the Higgs Field and they don't have mass. Everything else has a mass. Our consciousness is a type of electromagnetic energy (electrons and protons). It's properties are unlike light and should be treated like mass.

How are you all reconciling the fact that NVC practitioners are unfairly mature compared to most of the world? This need for people to be better people will never be met! 😢

Are there any videos of MR’s work with prisoners? I need to see NVC in action with VERY angry people, people who have hurt other ppl. I feel like NVC only works for people who are already calm and slow to speak. I want to see a video where they apply NVC successfully with delusional, angry, psychotic people.

I observed that all the audience members seem to be gentle people. Since I am not a gentle man, I need to see NVC in action with dangerously angry people like myself. I feel skeptical that this works with super angry people like myself.

The hardest thing for me is in the early stages of a conflict I feel petty for bringing up something "I went out of my way to get you something, you weren't grateful and didn't even offer to reimburse me, that makes me feel sad, and not listen to you/be around you, could you be more grateful?" Instead I say nothing, end up over indulging the person and when I can't hear any more politely tell them I'm going, when they get angry I just lose it, verbally and even shamefully physically if they aggressively banish me/have a history of threatening behaviour.

Last Friday @ work, I refused to do a task and I cried. I felt overwhelmed And my need for rest and peace wasn't met. inner educator: "why do you always make a drama out of situations?" "why can't you be strong and voice what you want without crying?" "what is wrong with me?" Me: Is your need for understanding and strength not fullfilled? Inner educator: No. I wanna show what I got to give! And what I can't give! Me: You have a need to show up as strong as you are? Inner educator: Yes! Yes! I wanna say clearly:"I Can do this!" & "I can't do this." Me: I get that. We can do that!

On the one hand Marshall is saying that it is a diabolical concept to assert what is right, wrong, be right, etc.. and then he goes on to make an evaluation of God and religion, adherents of the teachings of Jesus Christ, being wrong but eastern religion being right. If you go to the countries that espouse Buddhism and eastern religious practices, you won't find non violent communication. Where is this paradise he is talking about?

"GIVEN TO" Marschall B. Rosenberg I never feel more given to Then when you take from me, When you understand the joy I feel Caring for you. And you know my giving isn't done To put you in my debt, But because I want to live the love I feel for you. To receive with grace May be the greatest giving. There is no way I can separate the two. When you give to me I give you my receiving And when you take from me I feel so given to.

Marshall emphasizes how defensive reactions during communication prevent us from having clear judgement and the open mindedness necessary to accept each other's opinions and knowledge.

@americablessgod1273

He misunderstands “telling people spiritual TRUTH AND REALITIES (uncomfortable and unwanted)” as being “trying to manipulate”... “cutting off life”... “motivated by the desire to BE RIGHT AND WIN” He’s misreading and projecting his own intentions, perhaps subconsciously, but telling the truth or reality is not a crime, and it’s not wrong, just because it’s “UNCOMFORTABLE and UNWANTED”
@jessicaf2270
@jessicaf2270 3 года назад
It's all about how a person communicates and with what intentions. People attack other people with 'truth' all the time. If you're someone who actually knows the truth, then you'll have conviction in your sharing of it.

“Natural giving” - the problem with his philosophy is that, nobody has this “naturally” in them Ofcourse we were “designed to” do a lot of good (“give from the heart”), But THE FALL OF MAN happened in which now we need to be BORN-AGAIN for our MOTIVES for giving to become PURE, And for the desire to GIVE to become natural “NATURALLY,” we are selfish, not selfless!
@jessicaf2270
@jessicaf2270 3 года назад
Human beings best operate when they understand themselves and others explicitly. Through this they are able to know what it is they want and need, and what others want and need, and they can arrange themselves around each other accordingly. They are not selfish nor selfless, and they are both.

I do agree everything we do must be NOT OUT OF FEAR But not for his reasons, his reasons are “everybody will pay for that fear” My reasons are “God didn’t design you to live for your emotions or other people?”

@2:00 just contradicted himself I’m all for the technique of communicating clearly and all, But his politics and religious beliefs are dangerous, Previously, he’s promoting violence against Christians and Conservatives (the problem people and jackals creating chaos by using moral judgment language by calling people and actions “evil” when they are), He claims it’s jackal of you to call anything morally wrong, “wrong,” - he even said imagine a peaceful and harmonious place where the Earth is healed by no labels like those, “no right or wrong, no duty, no obligation, no rewards for good, no punishment for evil” and yet here he’s saying it’s morally wrong to have no moral duty or obligation (to be irresponsible) Lots of rings of Carl Marxism, Lennonism, Socialist-Communist overthrow and takeover etc ... he looks like he’s going to be showing up soon
@mareegeorge8641
@mareegeorge8641 Год назад
Hmm.. interesting you could have a point. I guess we can never take everything someone has to say as truth but it's sometimes good to take some of these ideas on board.

A key to world peace. In private life and politics. But so hard to practice in real. So hard. Not the theory or the analysis of Marshall but to practice. It is a little bit like tennis: it is easy regarded from the theory (just bring the ball one time more into the field of the opponent), but so hard to do. But nevertheless worth to train as much as you can, because it will bring you more than joy to you life: It will bring connection and meaning.
