now with the SD card, put an SD card with a BASIC language computer OS, attach a hub to the usb-c and add a screen and keyboard. now you have a BASIC computer.
instead of tweezers to place the hands I saw on someone elses video they use like a sticky tag to hold it in place while they press in the centre and it doesnt leave marks because its sticky tack
Pretty cool project. If I did one of these, I'd want one without the cyclops lens and would likely put a silicone or leather strap on it (not a fan of bracelet style). Still, that's the cool part, you can make it as you want it. With no o-ring(s) in the crown, this is not waterproof in the least. It didn't look like the crown even screwed down at all, so keep it dry.
You could try using pliers either end of the loop to close the ‘c’ shape in on itself, kind of like you were doing with the blade handle, but with a pair of pliers then you are putting more consistent force into closing it.
i own a rolex sub but i must say i would wear this watch colours are on another level and its great that it has no rolex labels it having no labels makes it some much better well done mate and congratulations just subscribed out of respect to your effort how much did it cost to build ??
Why is it that people think any metal watch is ‘flashy looking’? Every watch looks like a cheap knockoff today. Because cheap knockoffs look the same as $100k watches.
I still playing with my GBA and my old Gameboy DMC. Imo it's way better to play with those consoles than emulating them on your smartphone or Nintendo switch which imo looks horrible. Everyone has different preferences on where to play retro games personally I rather play them on the device they were made to be played on.
I was going to by the parts for this build but my card was blocked by my bank, so umm😢😢 it’s honestly so annoying😢😢because I have orders som shit for 500 bucks, bruuhhhhhh
What tools do you need for this. I was thinking of buying a super cheap watch (like a $2 Rolex clone) and disassembling it. Maybe swap out the dial and hands. I’ve never done any watchmaking before so not sure about everything.
If I buy a neutral dial like that, do you think it is possible to stick a thin layer of paper with a print on it to make my own custom dial, or would it mess with the thickness too much? Because customize a dial of aliexpress is quite expensive 😢
i’m looking at building my own watch, i’ve always just freaked out when i even thought about building my own watch. i always figured some 1000 dollar equipment
