Great videa thanks. Mine has the same problem. Do you know what the single spade terminal does that is to the right of the plug with 4 spades jn it? On mine there is nothing on that terminal and I am wonderimg if that is why the hour counter is blank? Thanks
Tip: Empty reservoir, fill with new oil. Disconnect the retur line, hold that into a empty 2 litre container. Then, have at least a litre new oil ready. Get some help to push engine start and stop. After the engine starts, pour new oil into reservoir and stop engine after 2-3 seconds. Make sure reservoir do not go empty. This is a procedure that also must be done when changing the pump, to avoid filling the new pump with dirt.
Nice! Do you experience opencpn being painfully slow when connecting wirelessly via RVNC? I do, yet I run it on a rpi5. Although at start is was a lot better if I recall it correctly.
To disable one or two cylinders to make the motor spin easier during start. This is especially at low temperatures. Then you switch it in when motor starts.
also if i put the circlip on the back of the shaft it jams the shaft from turning but yours went on real easily? mine got a small spring at back instead of a washer
Hi Gunnar, you seem to be a very familiar with a Raymarine tiller pilots. Perhaps you could help me about my ST2000+ tiller pilot... My brand new tiller pilot does not hold the course in AUTO mode. When I set the desired course in STANDBY mode and press the AUTO button the push rod (little by little) goes completely out, or completely inside, and the boat start circling endlessly. However, if I remove the tiller pilot from the pin, and steer the boat manually (left - right), holding at the same time tiller pilot very near the pin it reacts normally, as it supposed to do in AUTO mode, the push rod goes IN and OUT normally accordingly to my (left - right) steering... but when I put it back on the pin it no longer holds the course again. Thank you very much.
@gunnarkjemphol Well, yes, I did calibration. It's a very simple procedure, as everything else ... that's why I am so confused. I plugged tiller pilot to power, it shows "C" with the current course, I set the desired course and press "Auto" button to start automatic steering, but it just won't keep the boat in settled course.
as for the calibration process... I start turning the boat in circles, speed lower than 2 knots, about 4-5 minutes per circle. As soon as I made 1 whole circle, it shows the deviation amount, I believe it was 5, then I trurn the boat in a steady course and aligned the tiller pilot course that was shown on LCD display, and finally pressed "Standby" button for 1 second to save calibration... I believe it was done correctly.

Did you replace the old stainless steel water tanks with a flexible bladder? Did you line the area with plywood first? Would love to know more details as I am currently doing this on my Contest 33.
I replaced the water tank with a flexible bladder. On the other side i made a water tank for the toilet, this is made of epoxy and XPS foam plates, werry happy with that, and wil make simular for water tanks. I think I will make a video of that later. I will reccomned cutting the xps foam glass it, and then glass it togeter with epoxy.
I am an original owner of a 2011 xc 60 T6 AWD with 171000 miles. NO issue with power steering at all all these years. I have never drain/fill the power steering fluid but have topped off the fluid with Volvo power steering oil. Did you notice any power steering issue/problems before you performed this task or this is just a routing maintenance to get the new cleaner fluid into the system? Thanks
@@gunnarkjemphol Wow, 330000 km! Sounds like you are taking good care of your Volvo. The Volvo owner's manual indicates the power steering volume is 1.2 litters. I remember that you used total of 5 litters to complete the whole procedure. Dose it really need to have that much oil to flush the system completely? Here in the US, one litter bottle of Volvo steering fluid cost about $30/litter (the lowest price I can find, Volvo dealer wants $50/litter). Do I really need to have 5 litters to complete the flush (try to save some money)? Thanks again. Keep up the good work. (just subscribed )
use decompression leavers when starting is difficult. I use to turn over 2 when it is less than 5 deg celcius. Then it starts more easily, then I turn back the 2.

My engine is year 2002. I suppose I'll need to clean the Starter like you did, so i ordered a new Starter just to standby in case I ruin the servicing 😊 Thanks for the video❤
If you have a newer version of Tachometer with a silver ring its not made for open up and replacement of LCD is rather hard as example the grade is glued and not screwed in (I did it on my KAD300 from 2003)
