How good was Kilmer, especially in this scene? Well, until I saw the still for this video...I never noticed the women in the background...and I've seen this film more than a dozen times. Kilmer should have received an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.
I only discovered this band a few weeks ago, and now I'm permanently hooked on "The End is Not in Sight". I can't believe I went through the 70s without ever listening to this amazing band, which should be rated with the Allman Bros, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the best Southern rock elite.
Been listening to them for about 50 years. You definitely need to listen to Stacked Deck and Too Stuffed To Jump. Two of my top ten albums of all time.
COVID-19 injectables are not vaccines but they are the mark of the beast. In 2020 revelations commended and those with connection to spiritually had 20/20 vision of the unseen forces that influence out reality. Third eye awakening is happening and the forces working against humanity are failing. However, we still have much work to do and we cannot falter by believing that puppets such as Elon Musk or Andrew Tate are on the side of the people. I think people like them are being used by the control system to infiltrate the awakening population, but it won't work. Babylon is falling, the matrix is dying. The Apocalypse is here!
Keith was truly a legend... I just hate how he passed away... as someone who drinks all the time it bothers me how he left... but I also understand it...
He looks way too gaunt in this video. I took his passing very hard as "Dont close your Eyes" was out and had activated my own addiction to alcohol in college at the time, listening to that song over and over. The day he passed, they kept playing it and announcing the news. A chink fell out of my armor that day, realizing that my own battle wasnt just existential self absorbtion, but something that could kill. I learned from it buy listen to Keith's music sober now.
Sorry, you found an internet myth. "huckle bearer" isn't a real term. It was made up on the internet in the late 1990's, can't be found anywhere else We know for an absolute fact that he said Huckleberry, since that is in the script and Val Kilmer himself has confirmed that's what he said.
Keith was one of kind just little guy but man did he ever have the voice of a giant, I've often said he would've been another icon like George Jones had he not passed.
Mind Blown. Incredible to see Keith choppin it up and clowning Lester. Hilarious flashback too. I had repressed all memories of how absolutely shitty Tv wasbback then.
America's LAST CHANCE - the movie had experts on what the Soros - Globalists - have planned." ... AN UNSEEN HAND THAT PULLS THE STRINGS" No one believed when this came out in 2010. WAKING UP YET!?
It's interesting in this scene how drunk Ringo is, while this is one of the few scenes Doc is both sober and not suffering from the effects of his tuberculosis. If Doc could best Ringo easily when he was almost passed away, how absolute would his victory be here?
Wonderful nostalgic lost-love song, so perfectly 80s when the back-up singers nearly out shine the main event. Critics will say this didn't fair very well back in 89 on the charts. Have heard that it stands in the shadow of another popular song by the same title from the 60s. Let them talk, it's raining tonight here in New Mexico, that's pretty special in itself. Still my go to rainy night song now for got thirty plus years. That makes it a number one, and I'm sure my of you out there feel the same. And, it's much better than that other one that charted higher, just saying...
Doc was like a cobra under the spell of a charmer. Swayyed beautifully and a beauty to look at from afar. The moment the music abruptly ends, be ready for what comes after.
I can't wait for November. I've been assaulted unarmed by someone with a major piece of lumber and survived. The Lumbee are going to teach me how to responsibly use a firearm. It would be an instantaneous "reaction" to a bump or provocation without hesitation or guilt. I can tell you that.
There is, and never was, any such term. No evidence exists for it, and it can't be found in any print or media prior to the 2000's. Not to mention that Val Kilmer himself has said he did NOT say "bearer", and the 1929 book Tombstone (which the movie was based on) has Doc saying exactly what he said in the "play for blood" scene: "I'm your huckleberry, that's just my game".
@NoSafeSpaces - Awww how cute. You read an internet meme and now you think you're smart.. The correct word is *HuckleBERRY.* The word "Huckle bearer" is a hoax started on the _Texas Hill Country_ website. In fact "Huckle" was NEVER used to describe a "casket handle". The more you know..
