Shame the models from the Down The Mine pilot episode from the early 1980s were used as set dressing as scrap engines. As the pilot was reshot and redone.
I remember alot of the models being owned by ABC and on display at their headquarters running on a track and being in horrible condition. Im glad they are in good condition now and safe.
My headcanon for the James season 1 continuity error is that it wasn't James who appeared in those episodes and that James's model was simply used to represent one or many random unnamed NPC engines. After all, he's never actually refered to as James in any of those episodes, and canon is based on what's told and not necessarily the way what's told is shown/presented. The same goes for the two or three season 4 episodes where Rheneas was present during Peter Sam's big arc even though that arc took place while Rheneas was away to be repaired.
If he’s been in there for a long time, and I mean like a long time that Thomas must be dirty and dusty I don’t know if they clean them because I don’t work for Mattel
Americans do Month/Day/Year cos that sorts numerically in archives. So it would go Month1-Day1, Month1-Day2, Month1-Day3. Rather than if in the UK, where it would end up as Day1-Month1, Day1, Month2, Day1-Month3 etc. Both methods have their logic but i understand why the US does what it does.
