19:06 I think this especially is what makes the Celestial Dragon punch work. He doesn’t do it cause any of his crewmates or his family or anything, his breaking point is Hacchi. Some random henchman guy from hundreds of chapters ago, because he knows he’s a good person and it’s unfair for him to be hurt.
me personally i didn’t even realize how long dressrosa was because the story just captivated me so much. everything from the secret behind the country to law’s backstory was just so good i couldn’t stop watching. doflamingo was definitely one of the most captivating villains in the show and dressrosa was the first time in one piece where i was actually stunned and my jaw dropped while watching fight scenes! maybe i’m just biased tho bc i rlly love law lol
Dressrosa is easily S tier for me. I really enjoyed the Rebecca/toy soldier backstory and i felt the 1 on 1 battles were all epic. Franky vs Senor pink. Zoro vs Pica
WCI was the worst one: too much new characters, forcing unity among many people who couldn't stand each other, obnoxiously long scenes... If I was a 1P character, my power would be linked to atomic bombs, and I'd throw a Tsar Bomb coupled with antimatter to fully erase that archipelago .
Water 7, including enies lobby, is the best arc in one piece. There are so many arcs that are a close second place, but this one for me still has the most memorable moments out of any arc.
The Syrup Village arc has consistently symbolic contrasts with strong articulation and depiction. If you aren't focused really hard, you'll miss a lot. It's an arc for the sniper member, so it's an obvious hindsight that the entire arc is about spotting critical meanings.
Thriller Bark at A tier is an interesting take. Personally I would put it in high B as Moria as a villain really ruins it for me and his gang is overall annoying. The arc however does have its fantastic moments, particularly in the end with all the Kuma stuff.
watching alabasta while reading all the shahs men and lobbying for Israel by ilan pappe made me love the arc and genuinely stick to one piece. free Palestine!
@@FilmCutsReal arabasta is based on the middle east’s long and never ending struggle against colonialism/neocolonialism with a focus on egypt, iran and palestine. you can notice this by not only the arcs main villains and the motif of hiding history but also what people wear (orientalist stereotypes in the exotic dancers for example) the veiling, last names, the desert, the fact people eat kunafa etc. oda often bases arcs/peoples in the show on real life events. like skypea and nicaragua and the conquista, the fish men and possibly jamaican/ african slaves, etc
Skypiea at B tier. This is a blatant critique of the empty idolatry of One Piece fans, whether they just watch the anime or you, who made the video, have just skimmed through the manga
While watching enies lobby I realised They broke in: Declared war on the government: Defeated cp9: Rescued Robin: And (unintentionally) nuked the island IN A DAY
