The Anime That is Down Right Disrespectful 

Blue Lock is about "A project created to develop a superstar strikers for Japan", but the true master plan of Ego is to create a whole new generation of football players who got the mentality of winner, egotistical and self centered. To break the stereotypes with Japanese football that they team play and never achieve anytime. Ego quietly is building a FULL generation of japanese superstars across all positions. Gagamaru as GK, Niko and Glam guy into CB,Reo as MC,Isagi as CAM. If you noticed all players are diverging from the ST position into other positions without noticing it. So ego is low-key filling every single role for the national squad Rin as wing,Nagi and Demon Boy Isagi,Sae and Reo Is a nutty frontlinr

Blue Lock is changing the game, Isagi isn’t your typical shounen MC, he has that dog in him, isn’t goofy, or the pathetic underdog, he gets consistent W’s that aren’t some miraculous asspull, we have quite literally never seen a better written shounen MC than Isagi, matter of fact I can’t recall any anime/manga where the MC consistently takes W’s and is at the top of his verse throughout the story besides Goatsagi

The first episode trashed the basic cliche concept in all anime was destroyed by taking Kira out. He resembled the main characters in all anime at the end of the show once he was taken out the personality flip made it feel even more justified. The anime and manga are peak.

the biggest reason team system doesn't work in blue lock is because the sole purpose for blue lock is to create a striker around whom the best Japanese players will be put together as a team kind of like kaiser and his team.. Lets say one player stands at the end of blue lock project He becomes the striker then All the best players for other positions will be chosen that said it could be anyone like reo is really good support and he has proven that in the manga So is chigri got it guys

I watched a few episodes and I couldn't enjoy it beause sometimes they try to create an important plot with serious reasons but it makes no sense and contradicts its previously established logic. It happens alot in anime I know, and I don't mind it when it's a show about super heroes or fantasy or it's a show that doesn't try to take itself too serious.

Something that I love about this is the whole "I'm the protagonists while you're just lucky to be in my story" type mentality that everyone has it separates itself from a lot of sports series and each match is as Rin puts it "a fight to the death" each goal is a brutal kill shot every dribble is a literal ankle breaker and the way that each of the different and eccentric characters decide to maximise their own talents and evolve making some of the greatest hype moments in the series.

in real life if these 300 player send to europe maybe only few of them will in the top 5 league, even these few player will be transfered out from top 5 or even back to japan in a 2 or 3 years. i say "IF" guys, it's just my imagination

Blue lock isn't for me. I think that the story and characters are really good and refreshing. But I get this icky feeling when ever a character breaks or just goes in the zone. Will I recommend it to someone who wants something new? Sure. Will I watch it myself? Definitely not.
