I loved the part where Richard said "I know, I hate that!" To being called a good guy 😂 He really does good out of principle and not for ego or self-gratification
That's why Kathy and chandler couldn't work out, the minute things turned in different direction, she slept with another guy while Monica was mature and stable in mind despite her thinking that Chandler didn't want same things as her.
This episode supposed to be one of the emotional ones in the series but man how many one liners with comedies in it 😸 That itself within 2.5 mins clip.Reason why one of all time best sitcoms it is. 0:12 - "I'm not scared of you" 0:46 - "Allright then one thing happened" 0:54 - "You made my girlfriend, think" 2:23 - "I know,I hate that" 2:33 - Forgetting the ring and when comes back, the way richard gives to him 😂 insane..
The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. John 1:1,14 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, 1 John 3:8 KJV He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Isaiah 9:6 KJV For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT. John 3:18 KJV He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
I also love that after all of this monica was the one who started the proposal. it wasn’t like she was gonna go to richard and then chandler proposed, no. after they got together he was always her first choice ❤
It’s sad seeing chandler hate Richard as much he does. Remember when Joey and Chandler were fanboying over him. Richard really was a great guy, that didn’t deserve the stink eye from Chandler once he got involved with Monica
This scene is just awesome. The way Chandler aka #MatthewPerry fights for his love is endearing. Although he never hated Richard as per se, he makes his stand clear where his love for Monica is concerned. Only Matthew Perry could have pulled this scene so well. Although Selleck is awesome, Matthew is simply outstanding.
This scene is full of emotions. Chandler by this point is arguibly the most mature of the 6 (by the end of the series, he already and without a doubt is). He faces a man that not only he used to like, and probably still likes, but a man he used to see as the father figure he lacked when young. He's not wondering if he is the better option for Monica, he knows it. And Richard, man, I mean I dont like men that dates younger women but he forefits his chances with the woman he loves because he acknowledge that Chandler is what is right for Monica.
“You had your chance with her and you blew it! And this is my chance and I am not gonna blow it, because we are meant for each other!” This is probably the most heartfelt line in the entire series imo. Matthew Perry’s acting here is just top notch.
I liked Richard, but I don't feel bad for him, come on. He knew Monica since she was born and being close friends with her parents, he literally watched her grow up. They dated when she was still in her 20s. It was WEIRD and there's no way she was the "love of his life". Besides, he's smart, rich and hot, he'll be fine
Tom Selleck revealed an interview that during his time as a guest star on friends he was typically left out of many of the activities the main stars participated in. I guess they were too good to hang out with an established, well known actor.
