This channel is all about simulated racing and maybe the odd bit of random (music related) stuff to. I sometimes run live servers and stream them so if you feel like joining me on the track, jump in!!
Looking at this simulator for my future rally needs (or at least to see how it compares to RBR), but how does the FFB feel? I have heard that the off-road driving feels a little "numb". Wondering if this is the case still. Cheers!
At the moment its going through some changes in beta changes, once they are released into the public build then we we see. As they are at the moment they are good fun, and handle pretty well. I will say this though, you can't compare it to RBR, RBR is a physics master piece! I've not seen anything better than RBR
I think the update has now rolled out on consoles, not toally sure but I thought it had, if it has, the GT2 cars should now show up in the game, even if you've not bought them, they will show up but you wont be able to use them without buying the DLC
Im doing the 2024 championship series currently at Interlagos! These cars are so fun. I never thought bout taking out the bumpstops lol ur right tho it doesnt buttom out. Cheers!
have you driven the cadilac on spa? I have not tried this update but the car was almost impossible to drive random spinouts on eau rouge and other corners.
9:30 min on real car when you having understeer the wheel will make that but not as much as in lfu.LFU exegerate that feelings but it will litirary on any angle as longs car front tire loose traction
The ffb moving in the direction of turn in the Cadillac and the Ferrari is apparently due to the suspension geometry of those particular cars. The devs have said it is true to life in those cars.
Its not realistic, no car in the world does that, infact I tell a lie, one car I owned did that, but not pull to either direction of steer, it just pulled to one side, why? Because I'd bust the left shock spring in half. Any road worthy cars steering will immediately try to pull to center as the wheels are naturally going to follow the patch of least resistance. And to prove even further that this is a fault with the sim its self, if you slow down even more (way belowe 27mph) you will actually find its present to varying degrees in alot of the cars, even GTE cars.
unless you have a 4080 or above... Stop wishing for VR. because all of your VR guys will simply complain online and on forums on how it lags or looks bad if they were to implement VR...because you wanna play VR on a Potato computer. stick with AMS2 Why are VR guys so Vocal about being on VR. your the LEAST/ Lowest userbase for any sim. and it takes a powerful computer to run an engine such as LMU or Rfactor. its like being vegan. people who are vegan always have to make it known they are vegan lol
@@darwinLee81283 LMU runs fine in VR. As does rF2. It just hasn't been enabled for online. That's why we ask so often. We just want it enabled. But you are probably right that people will then complain about VR things. But then that is the risk with all early access stuff.
Its funny, since the games been updated im now finding, sometimes auto works, other times it does'nt, its really quite random. Glad the smoothing tip helped you!
7:23 here in the presentation where you touch the kerbs it looks so smooth. In the previous version if you touch this small sausage kerb with the sidewall of the tyre (not completely) it behaved like you run over it with full tyre.
Well said. I feel like the dampers update hasn’t gotten much attention but it’s such a significant change. Now give me competitive and fun to race AI and this will be my only sim
I tell you what that would be an amazing goodbye present, seeing as this is probably the last we will see for ACC before AC Evo comes along, it does make me wonder what will happen to the official servers. Now if they could let you race with others AND A.I. hosetd from your own PC, that would be absoloutely amazing and this sim could live on for a very long time! Great idea there mate, love it!
I don't play the game but I still managed to find this really fascinating. Perhaps you can make a series of these for different cars and tracks if this is something you like doing.
Cheers mate, yeah I do really get involved in the whole testing thing, where its just about how the car drives, as appose to racing (i love racing, this is just a different aspect, I love driving), I love that you can take some cars (depending on how much there is top play with in setup), and really mould them from a car that may not suit you, into a car that you love driving! Yes im up for doing more of these!
@@martymestemaker4550Exactly, thats why i've added to the title (Now Listed Video After Build Went Public), to avoid confusion as in the video I say it is unlisted, I released it publicly after build when public as thought folks might be interested. I'll have to do another one on the new tire physics, as this was just to do with set up, but im afraid im not a fan of the new tire model. Hope to see you online for a vodka and a natter soon, im getting an internet upgrade! Cheers mate!
Thanks for this follow up. You should consider deleting your other video so people don't happen upon it without seeing this update. Or maybe set it to only be accessible via link then post the link in the description of this video.
I have to say Reiza did an amazing job on Virginia, Brazilian tracks such as Interlagos and many other non-PCARS2 tracks. I expect nothing less than the same excellency for Sebring, maybe even Road Atlanta.
Sebring in rFactor 2 and Le Mans Ultimate is amazing. I can’t wait for this track. Road Atlanta should be coming also. I have been to Petit Le Mans a dozen times as a photographer. It is an amazing track also. The IMSA tie in is huge news.
As a photographer, wow, what a great job! What happened there today was a bit gutting! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-we49dIyNUSA.htmlsi=uroXqd3HhzFLSIVZ
Absolutely fantastic! Who is this magician? It's pissing me off is that S397 have been ignoring this for YEARS and this guys, who isn't a dev, can do it within days (probably hours tbf) in his free time.
