It took us 3 years to conceive our baby boy (through IVF) and it was one of the toughest things I have ever gone through. I decided it was time for me to give back to others and share my tips of what helped me along the way of dealing with infertility, surgeries, IVF treatments, etc. I hope these videos help someone along the way and know that you aren't alone in this journey!
I have only the left tube left which has hydrosalpinx. I was told I can either retrieve eggs for ivf now with the hydrosalpinx left tube but those eggs would have to be frozen and then id have to remove the tube. Or I can remove the tube which means I have zero chance of having a baby naturally and then fresh transfer instead of using frozen eggs. Im 35 i also have low amh so im not sure if they would be able to retrieve an egg. Should i keep the tube and see if they can retrieve an egg and then if they do id have to freeze which would be costly and then remove the tube which wojld be time. Or should i just remove the tube now and fresh transfer?

I WENT through this after my ivf transfer. It was surreal to see a positive pregnancy test! But in the UK they are reluctant to do hcg tests and after noticing the line becoming faint...I paid for it privately and that was devastating to see the hcg numbers dropping. I was so upset. I just want to know if anyone out there had success again with another cycle of ivf after? Do medics actually class this as a pregnancy or do they think we have lost the plot and it's all in our heads?
Yep, watching my hives inflammation fade day after day until they completely vanished was such a relief, I went with what I pointed out and within the first 10 days or so the urticaria/angioedema was barely visible! Hi there! God bless you! ❤❤❤ You saved us. We live in Copenhagen, it's 7 years later, we've been struggling to get our daughter, Jessica to take a bottle for 1 whole week. I cannot imagine prolonging this experience to months on end. We were fortunate to find similar nipple in a walk-in store. So, I was watching your 7yo video after searching tons of articles and watching other videos when I said it's worth a shot. 2 hours later I was back from the store, and Jessica had already eaten thoroughly. She had been spoon and sippy cup fed for the past week. She immediately fell asleep super satisfied. God bless you 🤗❤️❤️ PS: She ate another 3 times since then. It's now nighttime, and she's resting so well. I forgot to mention: She is 4 months and a half and she has been breastfeeding since she was born with essential bottles of pumped milk everyday. Suddenly she stopped accepting the bottles and that sent us spiraling.
Hi :) I believe it was a lotion called Sarna. However what cured my specific rash postpartum was a medication from my dr. It’s the only thing that finally gave me relief! Best to call your dr to see what they recommend, especially if you are breastfeeding you want to make sure you take something that is safe. Hope you heal quickly!
Thank you so much. Just found out I have hydrosalpinx in my left tube and I have to have it removed. Gosh I can't tell you how stressful this is. 7years of trying
So sorry that you are going through this. It’s such a tough and emotional journey. It’s hard when you find out you have something however at the same time it makes you happy to find something that you can take care of and hopefully bring you the baby that you’ve been trying so long for. It was tough finding out I had the hydrosalpinx for so long without discovering it for some time however I’m so thankful a dr finally found it and after removal brought us our first child ❤️ sending you many prayers and luck 🍀
I read it is possible to take out the fluid from hydrosalpinx with the help of ultrasound during egg retrieval from IFV. I just had laparascopy and they couldnt remove the hydrosalpinx tube because of the adhesions but I am not sure if they took the fluid out so I will ask my IFV doctor if she can take out the fluid because one day before surgery there was fluid in my uterus which has cleared now but I am scared anyway next month I have an appointment and I am planning to also freeze in case the first cycle doesn t work . How many embryos did you put when you got pregnant?
Hi there- So sorry you are going through this and apologies for the delayed response. For my successful transfers post surgery I put in 2 embryos. Both transfers resulted in twins however the first pregnancy we unfortunately lost one twin around 8-9 wks.
When I was diagnosed with it the dr said the hydro could be caused by multiple things so he wasn’t able to provide me one clear answer. Thankfully it was found because it’s extremely toxic to embryos.
I had my baby almost 4 weeks ago.. I started to get a super itchy rash that started behind my knees and moved to my knees, my elbows and now my arms and legs.. I’m miserable 😓 I called my ob but they said that I should contact my primary care. I just need something for it to go away! I bought Sarna and it helps a bit as long as I don’t itch at all but it’s so hard.
Thank you so much for sharing this vedio basically during this journey I met many problems and not successful ivf and do fibroid removed operation after that hydrosalpinx for two fallopian tube the doctors tell me there is no cure for hydrosalpinx so burn both tubes and then did ivf again failure 😔
Hi there - I am so sorry to hear you are feeling that way. All those medications definitely mess with your emotions. It took some time for things to level out but not right away since after retrieval you still have to be on meds. I hope you are feeling ok and if it gets really bad make sure to reach out to your dr. Thank you so much I just got the same news 2 days ago and I’m just so upset. I’ve had 2 major surgeries and they are unsure if they want to do the surgery to remove my tubes. I’m down for it though. Congrats and you god bless. :)
So sorry you are going through that!! I understand I felt the same way as you- I wasn’t happy about surgery and tube removal but when you want to get pregnant so badly you are open to whatever will help! Wishing you positive news on this tough journey. It’s so so hard but don’t give up!
My baby just turned 6 months and I have had this major rash and it’s been freaking me out. Thank you for sharing your story. I wonder if I’m one of the rare ones who gets it after as well.
Sorry to hear you are dealing with that! Hope you heal quickly!! 6 months postpartum seems really late for that type of rash- I would recommend seeing your dr if you haven’t already so you can get some answers on the type of rash you have.
Hi! My successful IVF was not my first. I had a few rounds of unsuccessful cycles before we finally got pregnant. Sending you lots of prayers! It is still early and just because you have no symptoms doesn’t mean it’s unsuccessful. Stay positive 🙏🏻

My wife right now is in 7 th day after ivf embryo transfer. She says no symptoms at all except slightly backpain + breast tenderness + sometimes feverish. Is it common for all??we can't decide is it because of medics or something we don't want to happen.....!!! Help us to know more better about it. My wife is so much tensed about it. Shall we go for Home kit?? If it's so when do we start??

Thank you for your sharing, I completed my day 5 transfer last Monday, I am still within 10days waiting time..I felt my body is hot before I wake up for serval days, which I haven’t had it before, is it kind of symptoms?
You know what in the UK they push for fresh transfer. But Frozen ones have a slight increase of being successful because you go back for the transfer when your body has had the time off to heal. With all the hormones going off inside, then the trigger injection, then onto egg retrieval and then to go back in a few days or so for embryo transfer causes your body to stress out. Which is probably why frozen “may” be the way forward.
