This makes a lot of sense to me 💗 I found out yesterday our first fresh transfer was negative yesterday 😔 we are so sad but we have 3 frozen embabies so I said to my husband I want to wait a couple of cycles and go back for our frozen! The dr said my lining looked good etc but my instincts looking back feel our bodies go through so much with all the injections etc! And isn’t receptive to an embryo. I’m praying our 2nd try is the golden egg 🥚✨ thanks for making me feel better
Hey, hope you're doing fine. And yes you're are also right. Everything needs time to heel. The body needs alot of time to adjust itself. I think I general that the concept of frozen embryo is much better. Well, thanks for sharing the video!
my dr and nurse are now pushing for their patients to wait for the frozen transfer ----- though the protocol has changed (shortened) I won't have to wait more than two weeks or so. I guess they are going to put me on a BC pill for 10 days or so after my retrieval and then start the 4-5 day prep for the transfer. They are advising that I do this BECAUSE it gives my bod time to calm down..... Thank you for sharing this and I'm no expert, but I bet that clinics are going to be pushing more for frozen than fresh very soon. Studies have now shown that the instant freezing process has improved so much, that that variable in this complex equation has less impact. I've had too many failed IUI's to count and a failed IVF (fresh) and will have my second retrieval next week hopefully. Fingers crossed. Good luck everyone.

My mind would be all over the place wondering if what I was doing was the right step in the process. I can totally feel you! Had my first transfer on a fresh cycle* and it failed. Not a doctor either but I really think I was too stimulated and stressed with all of this! I am doing a frozen transfert in 2-3 weeks and already feel it will be so much easy on me!
My fresh transfer was just cancelled yesterday. We're going to do a frozen transfer next month. I feel totally sad about it but at least this way my bruises from the needles can heal and my body can kinda get back to normal. Waiting is terrible
I am so sorry to hear that. I went thru a few cancelled cycles and it's so frustrating and upsetting! Waiting is really tough however I will say that the frozen cycle I felt physically much better as I wasn't so pumped up on all of the hormone drugs. I felt my body was in a better state to except an embryo- which it did! So I hope that gives you some hope :) Hang in there and prayers for you!!
You know what in the UK they push for fresh transfer. But Frozen ones have a slight increase of being successful because you go back for the transfer when your body has had the time off to heal. With all the hormones going off inside, then the trigger injection, then onto egg retrieval and then to go back in a few days or so for embryo transfer causes your body to stress out. Which is probably why frozen “may” be the way forward.

Hi. I have gone thru to my day3 from the retreival. And my doctor also suggesting to do FET cycle in the next 2 month. First time i was in doubt on why that suggestion came up. But my doctor said since i also tend to have pco hence she suggesting to do the frozen transfer in order to make my body got quite neutral from thr over high hormone. Glad that we have almost same experience...

Hi, my wife's embryo was frozen now we are waiting for her 1st period, we are still debating to do it because of coronavirus outbreak, how is your child doing? We are just concerned about freezing the embryos for a long time. Thanks in advance.
